About

Pub Saint Pierre functions as a classic bistro-style establishment focused on high-quality grilled selections and substantial burger options. The kitchen emphasizes fundamental techniques to prepare consistent, savory plates suitable for casual interactions. Diners encounter a menu balanced between seasoned meat preparations and traditional pub-style accompaniments. The interior reflects an utilitarian aesthetic that prioritizes functional space and communal atmosphere over decorative flourish. Every burger features hand-pressed patties paired with fresh garnishes to ensure structural integrity and bold flavor profiles. This venue serves as a reliable destination for those seeking robust comfort food served in a focused, no-nonsense environment. The culinary approach centers on the integrity of the grill, ensuring that heat and seasoning remain the primary drivers of the overall dining encounter.

Review Summary

Pub Saint Pierre is widely celebrated as a cozy, historic staple in Old Montreal, frequently praised for its lively atmosphere, welcoming service, and impressive selection of cocktails and beers. Many visitors highlight the quality of the food, with standout menu items including the burgers, beef tartare, poutine, and brunch options. While the venue is popular and often bustling, leading to a crowded environment that may require reservations, the majority of patrons find the vibrant energy and professional staff well worth the visit. This place is always packed no matter what time of day you go. Great atmosphere & friendly staff. Though at times they can get a little overwhelmed with customers. Great food. Would highly recommend.

Nice pub, feels really authentic. Food is more than only usual pub food. Their Pad Thaï is to die for & to enjoy with a nice St-Ambroise Cream Ale. 10/10

Great hidden gem. Found it on our first night & we went back every night for a night cap. Small quiet bar upstairs (attached) highly recommend a visit too!

The main pub was packed with a long line to get in, but we were able to sit at the upstairs bar. Great old world atmosphere. More quaint & intimate than downstairs. Better for a date night than downstairs, but downstairs was more lively. Wonderful drinks & attentive bartenders.

PSB is a place to go for casual drinks & late food & ambiance of a British pub. I have yet to do brunch here but heard good things. The staff are super friendly, engaging, the atmosphere is awesome, always thriving. As a Brit living in Canada, it's definitely a place to feel at home!
The burger here is so good however, I will say the fish & chips is a let down, for 30$, you get a very, very small portion. Not the classic British fish n chips!
