Amazing beer & incredible poutine! I've had some bad experiences with poutine recently, but BreWskey Pub showed me what great poutine should taste like! Thanks for the amazing food & drinks! Also, the service was excellent. Keep it up & you will have me visit more often…& with more friends every time.
Absolutely phenomenal experience at BreWsky in Montréal!
From the moment we walked in, BreWsky had that perfect blend of Montreal charm & laid-back craft pub energy. The atmosphere hits the sweet spot - warm, buzzing, & effortlessly cool, with just enough ambient noise to make the place feel alive without being overwhelming. The decor is rustic yet polished, & the vibe invites you to stay longer than you planned.
Now, let's talk food - the smoked meat poutine is a showstopper. It's a glorious twist on a Montreal classic: crispy fries piled high with tender, smoky, perfectly seasoned meat, rich gravy that doesn't drown but complements every bite, & cheese curds that have that perfect squeak. Every forkful feels like comfort food elevated to an art form.
& the beer? Exceptional. BreWsky's craft selections are varied & creative, with something for every palate - from hop-forward IPAs to smooth, malty stouts. Every pour tastes fresh & expertly brewed. You can tell there's real passion behind every pint.
The service tied everything together - attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, & knowledgeable about both the menu & the brews. Our server made great recommendations & seemed genuinely excited to share what makes BreWsky special.
Overall, BreWsky isn't just a place to grab a drink - it's an experience that celebrates everything great about Montréal's food & craft beer scene. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a must-visit.
We stopped by BreWskey Pub for a few drinks, & it was a nice, casual spot to relax for a bit. Nothing too fancy, just a laid-back atmosphere with good beer & friendly service. They have a nice selection of local brews, & it's a great place to unwind after walking around Old Montreal.
The vibe is easygoing, not too loud or crowded & it feels like the kind of place where you can just sit, talk, & enjoy a drink without any rush. We didn't try the food this time, but the drinks were solid, & we'd happily come back again for another round.
This pub was quite basic. The service was really slow. The drinks were OK. We didn't eat but the food did look good.
It's a really nice pub. The food was delicious, I totally forgot pictures. 🤦🏻?♀?
My bad, but you should try the sanduíches. 😉
They are nhamy.
My friends really appreciate the bear there.
I drink a delicious limonede.
Great place to try a few beers & talk smart about them :) No-nonsense pub, great location, & a wide selection.
We got into Montreal yesterday driving from Southern Ontario for a Bachelorette. We were a party of 5 & I made a note on the reservation that it was for a bachelorette. We got in a little bit later than we had hoped so called the pub to move our reservation from 7:00 to 7:30. Whoever I spoke to on the phone wasn't too thrilled about us pushing our reservation, but there was nothing we could do about that unfortunately. We were escorted to a nice booth upstairs.
When we arrived our server was making rude comments & little jabs at us. He seemed annoyed with us for some reason (we assume because we pushed our reservation, or potentially because we were English speaking). We ordered beers & an app. When the app came he just dropped it off & started to walk away immediately. We all wanted another round of beers so I was able to catch him before he walked off but he didn't check with anyone else if they wanted another beer. He came back with my beer & tried to walk away again when 2 other girls were able to ask for another beer before he walked off again. When he came back with those beers he tried to walk off AGAIN when the bride asked for another. He gave her some attitude in a'joking' way. We finished our app & waited & waited… he cleaned tables around us, gave other people service & never even came back to take our entree order. I had to go up & speak to him to get him to come over & take our order (I will add I'm a waitress back home in Ontario). I politely acknowledged that we were late, but I had called, I said he seemed to be upset with us & not giving us good service. I said we are just trying to have a good time & we are not. Truthfully we wanted to take our business elsewhere but it was 8:30 by this point & we were very hungry. He promptly came back & took our order & gave us better service afterwards but he was not'friendly' at all. You could tell he was very upset by the situation. The regulars that were there were having a great time with him & he was giving them far superior service that we received.
The food was EXCELLENT & came out very quickly after we ordered. Downstairs seemed to have a much better vibe & we wish we had been able to eat down there.
I am very easy going & not hard to please at all, but the rude comments & lack of service especially on a very special weekend was VERY disappointing.
Nice little pub. We didn't eat but we had drinks. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. The drinks were top notch.
BreWskey is a fantastic spot with a classic pub atmosphere, great service, & amazing food. Hands down the best poutine we've ever had as Torontonians. Highly recommend!
The brewskey as a brand offer a great & wide experience since they have under the same roof 3 differents commerces.
The annexe for the smoked meat, the beer & the merchandise, the Pub with their pub menu & a wide selection of whiskey & their restaurant the Taproom.
Whatever you are looking for, you'll found it & it's all signed Brewskey.
OMG, did we ever need to find this place. We were visiting during the F1 racing week & decided to take a walk to Old Montreal & down Rue Notre Dame & around. We found Pub Brewsky pretty much when my feet were giving out & a local craft beer was the only thing to save them. We also grabbed snack before continuing on our way. Lovely patio & great setting on a hot summer evening.
Cozy warm pub! Beer was great as well as the beer smoothie! Nachoes was delicious although I wish it was a little bigger.
Very cute pub! It also has great indoor & outdoor sitting options (if the weather allows of course!) We had the juice beers & ABSOLUTELY loved it. Specially the mango found a special place in my heart. Very unique & very delicious! I also had a sours flight once & loved that one too! We also had chicken wings which was okay. not bad not great :D The fries were delicious tho!!
Microbrewery in Old Port area, right under the Bonsecour market. Has three spaces that are connected - a restaurant/pub & two brewery-style seating. Pub has food & will also do beer flights. Beers are great, with some really fun flavors. We loved their peanut butter stout & mango sour. We felt that their NEIPA's weren't very hoppy. Food is very much like bar food - fried stuff, nachos, burgers, & poutines. Great flavors & a fun place to hangout.
