The best food we have had during our flying visit through Canada. Lovely atmosphere, though the Hop on, Hop off bus every 15 mins did block the view. Having said that if we hadn't been on the bus we wouldn't have found this place. Has a working brewery which means the beer is fresh & locally made, & the wine, though limited selection, was good too. Food, service & ambiance perfect for a late afternoon lunch. Pictures are hubby's beer, my wine, Prime Rib sandwich & my grilled cheese sandwich.

One of the places I really like to go to in Old Port is Brewskey. They have bacon jerky, glazed with maple syrup, which is incredibly delicious. I don't know of any other place in the city that has something as tasty. However, the service is pretty bad, both day & night (if I could, I wouldn't pay the tip). The people were not friendly, it seemed like you had to beg for service. I went there recently in the summer & the patio (outside area) was full of wasps. I'm allergic, so I made sure to go inside, despite the heat. That said, I recommend it for the food & beers, but be aware that their customer service is VERY poor.
Delicious food, awesome beer selection in all styles from lager to pilsner to hazy IPA to fruit beers to stouts & beyond. Great for flights. The waiter was super friendly, welcoming & attentive & the outdoor seating area had a good vibe with a diverse crowd of all ages, nice environment they've created.
Even though they're known for their home made beer, they also make an excellent Negroni with the perfect amount of bitters. Unfortunately, the drink was a bit overpriced at over 20 bucks after tax. BreWskey Pub comes highly recommended & it seems to be one of the better options in Old Montreal. They have an extensive beer list, nice cozy atmosphere & decent service. The outdoor patio makes this place very appealing in the summer, & inside is surprisingly expansive, divided onto several floors. I hear there's even live music at times. Check out their beer factory on site!

I've been to probably 100 breweries, & this is my new fave. Dozens of beers on tap, & everything I tried was EXQUISITE. Hazy IPAs, sours, the peanut butter stout, & they even have great non-alcoholic options as well like the fruit slushies (the guava one was my fave). Quick service as well, & we loved being in the beer garden. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in Montreal...
My mother & I went before going to a show & had a wonderful time! She has an allergy & our waitress was very helpful with ensuring what we wanted to get was safe. She was also very helpful with suggestions of her favourite brews as we ordered a flight of four 5oz beers to try. The staff that seated us was a little more sassy, but it was busy, so it's understandable. We got fried pickles & a simple smash burger & both were amazing! I'd recommend adding the extra bacon to the burger as it's a thick cut & worth the extra in my opinion. We swapped the fries that come with the burger for a poutine. It was alright, not warm enough but good proportions of tasty sauce & cheese curds. I'd go for the sweet potato fries or onion rings instead. The beers were also very good, but I'm not connoisseur. I'd recommend their beer made with honey & bread (#2, I think?) & their blonde with orange. The waitress informed us that the menu changes often, though. Make a reservation if you can! It gets quite busy during peak times.

Really loved the outdoor space at this pub, it was relaxing to enjoy a drink in their beergarden on a summer afternoon. Came here with a party of 8 & had no difficulty getting a table despite having no reservations. We enjoyed the outdoor pub menu & i was happy to see a variety of light & dark beers on the menu. After our meal I went into the Annex & purchased some cans for later!
