PoutineVille is the result of an idea that had simmered for a decade in the heads of three longtime friends. It is the union between the expertise of an experienced chef, Tony Rea and imagination of Kosta Kariotakis, Camillo Fresco and you!
Make your own poutine by choosing the ingredients you want. Add extra vegetables, choose different meats and you can even choose what kind of patato you want. Not feeling creative? Let them serve you one of their pre-made amazing poutines, you won't be disappointed.
Overall, reviews describe PoutineVille as a reliable spot with large, flavorful portions, a wide and creative poutine menu, and options to customize your own with a wide range of toppings. Fries stay crisp, cheese curds are fresh, and the gravy is rich and balanced, delivering comforting and authentic flavors for both locals and visitors. The service is consistently friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it easy to pop in for a quick bite or a casual meal with family or friends. The restaurant also supports different dietary needs with gluten free and vegetarian options, and the option to customize your poutine is a crowd pleaser that adds fun and variety to the dining experience.
Just leveled up my lunch game with a'Tour Du Chapeau' poutine - home fries, cheese curds, bacon, hot dog sausage, ground beef, all drowned in poutine sauce. Paired it with a crafty Montreal brew. My lunch is officially cooler than yours. #FoodieWin #SorryNotSorry 🍟🍺
We recently embarked on a one-night trip to Montreal, with three highly anticipated activities on my list: a ride on one of Via Rail's new trains, a meal at Poutineville, & experiencing the Total Solar Eclipse from the Montreal Science Centre. Upon our arrival in Montréal that Sunday afternoon, the temperature was a comfortable 11°C, perfect for a leisurely spring walk. Poutineville, though relatively small & located at 1365 Ontario St E, is evidently popular. The restaurant was clean, & the staff was exceptionally friendly & welcoming. After introducing myself to Harri, she persuaded us to dine in rather than take out, a decision I'm glad we made. The menu was enticing on its own. Our server, Charlie, was incredibly kind. Following his recommendation, I ordered the Montrealer, excluding the mushrooms & fried breaded pickles. I was far from disappointed. As Charlie served my order, the melted Swiss cheese sizzled tantalizingly on the plate. It was delicious. Despite ordering the regular size, I couldn't finish it. Determined not to waste any of it, I asked for a takeout bag, brought the leftovers back to our hotel, & enjoyed the rest there. My heartfelt thanks to everyone at Poutineville for a satisfying experience. I highly recommend this place & look forward to returning the next time I'm in Montréal.
I love Poutine so was very much excited to try Poutineville but overall left with the impression it was good not great. My primary disappointment was the quality of the chicken in the "crispy chicken." I was anticipating maybe a breaded chicken breast cut up but instead the crispy chicken are just highly processed chicken nuggets you'd find in a supermarket freezer. They weren't very appetizing. Outside of that the service was very friendly. Patrons next to me got what looked like a pulled pork poutine which looked a lot more appetizing.
First time in Montreal & how can I miss the Canada's most famous poutine. Poutineville's poutine was so good. My family of 10 visited this place & it had a nice setup. I tried the crispy chicken poutine & it tasted amazing. Have attached few photos!!!!! The crew members in the restaurant were down to earth too, they took care of everyone's request. Special mention to Loria(I hope I am spelling her name right) you are a star woman!!! Thank you!
Gourmet poutine? LOL. This is not the best poutine at all in Montreal. The fries were dry inside & simply don't taste great (old potatoes?). Go to a casse-croûte for a real quebecoise poutine if you have a car. If not, try the Pool Room instead. Keep it classic - no toppings. If you want a choice of toppings : try La Banquise.
The poutine was Amazing! My 3rd poutine ever but it was the best so far! I would have gave 5 stars but the grilled cheese was a miss unfortunately, & the milkshake wasn't the best.
One must try a Poutin when in Québec region & we were not disappointed with the one we had at Poutinville. We ordered the large Russian Stroganoff Poutine to share between the two of us with Julienne fries. It was a very generous portion & better than I had expected! Some of the fries were still crispy underneath & was well matched with a gravy which was perfectly flavoured. The spring onion gave it a nice refreshing touch! Our waiter was also very attentive & looked after us well. Would recommend if in the area!
Great friendly service, & a really pleasant atmosphere. Kept it simple & ordered a classic poutine & a steamé (hot dog) which was really good although the poutine sauce was a little lacking in flavour. We also ordered the Montrealer poutine which was loading & delicious. Definitely would recommend.
La meilleure poutine que j'ai pu mangé durant mon voyage au Canada ! Les portions sont généreuse avec des produits de qualité, c'était un véritable régale :)
