PoutineVille is the result of an idea that had simmered for a decade in the heads of three longtime friends. It is the union between the expertise of an experienced chef, Tony Rea and imagination of Kosta Kariotakis, Camillo Fresco and you!
Make your own poutine by choosing the ingredients you want. Add extra vegetables, choose different meats and you can even choose what kind of patato you want. Not feeling creative? Let them serve you one of their pre-made amazing poutines, you won't be disappointed.
At PoutineVille, a huge variety of poutines and a make-your-own option invite guests to tailor toppings to their taste. Generous portions, crispy fries, and flavorful gravies with squeaky cheese curds are consistently praised, along with fresh ingredients and creative flavors like butter chicken and General Tao. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, attentive, and welcoming, contributing to a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Dietary needs are well supported with gluten-free options and vegetarian choices, and vegan options are noted. Prices are described as reasonable and portions substantial, making it a reliable option for a satisfying meal. Overall, PoutineVille seems to be a standout for poutine lovers in Montreal with something for everyone.
Nice restaurant with a great service. Good selection of poutine. But the best option is the build your own poutine. Their selection of fries, cheese, sauces & dressings is amazing. Big portion is really big. If you are not very hungry, you shouldn't go for it.
Service was great. We ordered different poutines, they were all very good! The hangover is a little spicy, & if you don't like blue cheese I would remove it from the filet mignon. The poutineville was pretty good too. The owner was very friendly & hard working.
We ordered:
Buffalo Chicken Poutine, 5/5 recommend. Was phenomenal.
Chicken tender meal with an original poutine. Chicken was delicious, perfectly cooked & the poutine was great.
Mac & cheese! Excellent!!!! My kiddo ate it all up. Highly suggest for the kids.
Order was quickly prepared, & the pricing was fair.
MERCI
Had the Original poutine & it was perfect - crispy fries, rich gravy, & the cheese curds were just the right amount of melty. Portions were generous, everything was fresh, & the flavor balance was spot on. The server was friendly & easygoing, which made the experience even better.

Great casual lunch spot. John our waiter was suuuuuper friendly & engaging. The food was delicious (poutine, wings, burgers, Mac & cheese). We will be back.
We had an amazing visit. We were on a family holiday & this was the perfect last stop before heading home. These poutines were amazing. We get some pretty good cheese curds our way from the local farmer but these ones were next level. Our server John was amazing. He was interactive with our kids & made us feel right at home. I highly recommend.
John was amazing even though he'forgot my wings' 😆 he did get right on it with a smile on his face. Poutine was amazing with cheese Curt's fresh & squeaky... great environment, felt very welcoming. Will definitely be back!!! I fully recommend this place for the entire family & anyone who likes poutine.
Very good poutine, excellent service. I went there after the pride parade last summer, & despite a lot of customers I was able to get a table quickly & pretty quick service. The sauce is a little salty for my liking, but it's not off putting. The cheese has a nice squeak to it & the prices are very reasonable.

Food was cold, the portion was small & didn't have enough cheese. Doesn't worth & will not go there again. There are many better places to choose from in city. The waitress was not friendly.
*Poutineville* is an absolute must-visit for poutine lovers! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere is vibrant, & the staff immediately make you feel welcome. Our server was excellent-attentive, friendly, & always checking in to ensure everything was perfect without being overbearing. Now, let's talk about the food. The portions are **huge**! You definitely get your money's worth here, & then some. The poutine is everything you could hope for-crispy fries, rich & savory gravy, & perfectly melted cheese curds. The menu offers a fantastic variety of poutine options, whether you're a classic fan or want to customize your dish with unique toppings. Each bite was delicious & comforting, & I left feeling completely satisfied. If you're in the mood for a hearty, indulgent meal served with top-notch service, *Poutineville* is the place to go. I can't wait to come back!
Actually pretty nice place with very friendly staff, lively music & good food. Had a BLT which I would rate a 5 on 5. Very surprisingly huge cocktail offering & a good selection of local draft beers. One negative, for a place called Poutineville the poutine could be better. Cheese curds are excellent but smaller than usual, sauce is good but fries were off. Seemed re-fried, overly greasy & of different potato varieties in same plate. Nice terrace but in a raunchy neighborhood.

The poutine's are good & I like that you can choose your cut of fries but they are soooo cheap with the amount of cheese. They only put about half the amount of cheese a poutine should typically half. If they make this change, I would bump up my review to 5 stars.
I was really excited to take the family out for poutine during our trip to Montreal in April 2024 & this did not disappoint. We have 2 pescatarians in our family & this place had plenty of options. I was pleasantly surprised that the gravy was vegan, which took care of a lot our issues. The poutine itself was delicious - fresh cheese curds & a ton of opportunity to customize it to your desires. I would definitely go back to this location or try others in this chain if I was in Montreal again.
Great cheese, not the best sauce, & just alright fries. Much better poutines out there. Also more on the pricey side if you choose to add any toppings.
Just leveled up my lunch game with a'Tour Du Chapeau' poutine - home fries, cheese curds, bacon, hot dog sausage, ground beef, all drowned in poutine sauce. Paired it with a crafty Montreal brew. My lunch is officially cooler than yours. #FoodieWin #SorryNotSorry 🍟🍺
We recently embarked on a one-night trip to Montreal, with three highly anticipated activities on my list: a ride on one of Via Rail's new trains, a meal at Poutineville, & experiencing the Total Solar Eclipse from the Montreal Science Centre. Upon our arrival in Montréal that Sunday afternoon, the temperature was a comfortable 11°C, perfect for a leisurely spring walk. Poutineville, though relatively small & located at 1365 Ontario St E, is evidently popular. The restaurant was clean, & the staff was exceptionally friendly & welcoming. After introducing myself to Harri, she persuaded us to dine in rather than take out, a decision I'm glad we made. The menu was enticing on its own. Our server, Charlie, was incredibly kind. Following his recommendation, I ordered the Montrealer, excluding the mushrooms & fried breaded pickles. I was far from disappointed. As Charlie served my order, the melted Swiss cheese sizzled tantalizingly on the plate. It was delicious. Despite ordering the regular size, I couldn't finish it. Determined not to waste any of it, I asked for a takeout bag, brought the leftovers back to our hotel, & enjoyed the rest there. My heartfelt thanks to everyone at Poutineville for a satisfying experience. I highly recommend this place & look forward to returning the next time I'm in Montréal.
