PoutineVille is the result of an idea that had simmered for a decade in the heads of three longtime friends. It is the union between the expertise of an experienced chef, Tony Rea and imagination of Kosta Kariotakis, Camillo Fresco and you!
Make your own poutine by choosing the ingredients you want. Add extra vegetables, choose different meats and you can even choose what kind of patato you want. Not feeling creative? Let them serve you one of their pre-made amazing poutines, you won't be disappointed.
Across visits, Poutineville earns high marks for comforting, generously portioned poutines built on crispy crushed potatoes, rich gravy, and squeaky cheese curds, with favorites ranging from classic meat options to breakfast poutines and a Nutella French toast sandwich that feels indulgent yet approachable. The new brunch options are described as delicious and on brand, offering satisfying meals that are easy to share on casual outings or enjoy on a laid back date, while the portions make it easy to have leftovers. The atmosphere is consistently described as cozy and welcoming, with friendly service that makes guests feel at home and eager to return for more. Overall, Poutineville is viewed as a reliable, neighborhood style spot where guests can customize orders, enjoy good value, and discover flavorful twists that keep bringing them back.
I was invited to a special launch event for Poutineville's new brunch menu ahead of its official release on February 7, & it was a really nice experience.
I've been coming to Poutineville for years with family, friends, & on casual dates, so being invited in this way felt special & not something I take for granted.
My favorite dishes were the 3-meat breakfast poutine & the smoked salmon breakfast poutine… both made with their famous crushed potatoes & topped with eggs Benedict. Comforting, filling, & very on brand for them. You also can't go wrong with a simply delicious Nutella French toast sandwich.
What stood out most to me was the team behind it. The owners Anna & her husband as well as the poutineville franchise owner Kosta were present, along with his son, & they were genuinely kind & open to hearing feedback before launching the brunch menu. That level of care & openness meant a lot.

I recently went to Poutineville on Queen Mary for a casual date, & it was the perfect spot for a laid-back evening. We weren't super hungry, so we decided to share a poutine with crushed potatoes, braised beef, & red wine sauce-& it was amazing. The crushed potatoes were crispy & light, which was a nice change from regular fries, & the braised beef was so tender. The red wine sauce added such a rich, flavorful kick that brought everything together perfectly.
The portion was just right for us to share, & we left feeling totally satisfied without being overly stuffed. The vibe was cozy & relaxed, & the service was friendly, even though it was a bit busy. It was a great choice for a low-key date, & I'll definitely be back for more when I'm craving poutine. If you're in Montreal & looking for a great spot to share a comforting meal, Poutineville is definitely worth checking out!
Poutineville on Queen Mary Road is an absolute must-visit & my go-to comfort food spot. I've been many times, & their poutines are consistently incredible. Sure, there are other places where you can get a poutine, but honestly, there is no better poutine than Poutineville's. The fries are perfectly cooked, the gravy is rich & deeply satisfying, & the squeaky cheese curds are simply the best!
The portions are extremely generous, & you never leave hungry. On top of that, the service is always warm, friendly, & welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It truly feels like a neighborhood favorite done right.
I've even heard a rumour that a breakfast menu may be coming soon - including delicious homemade latkes! If that's true, I'll be there even more often. Highly recommended!

Size: Classic (S) ~$10.00 plus $2 for extra curds (see second picture).
Large serving with leftovers for dinner.
Tasty fries, fresh curds, & nice hot gravy. I love curds, so I asked for extra to be added & had enough leftover to bring home.
We went around 11:15 (opens at 11:00); it was quiet, the service was fast, & our waitress was great.
Well worth a visit, the new all you can eat Tapas style menu on a Tuesday night is a very good introduction to the menu & is only $20. All the staff are very friendly & know how to treat a customer to a very pleasant evening out.
We had the Philly Cheese Steak Poutine & the Hangover Poutine - regular size.
The beef on the philly cheese steak was really good & my girlfriend really enjoyed it.
For the Hangover Poutine, I chose regular poutine sauce & opted for bbq sauce instead of hot sauce & they were able to accommodate the scrambled eggs instead of fries eggs. If you love meat, I recommend trying this.
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent value & excellent milkshake. What more can you ask for? By far the cleanest poutineville in Montreal hell one of the cleanest in the city, the decor is modern which makes this poutineville stand out from the others. Overall me & my wife highly recommend this establishment, let's you customize your poutine which assures that you get what you want & it's a clean & friendly environment. Truly a gem & once again would recommend, you'd be crazy to skip this place!
The poutine at Poutineville is very good. We are fans of the classic & it does not disappoint. The gravy is excellent & those crushed fries are a nice touch. Plus the price is excellent since even the regular serving is quite large. There are tons of options also for all tastes.
However, I am constantly disappointed that they included plastic cutlery in my takeout & delivery orders even when I don't request it. I always aim to support places that are eco-friendly & I think I'm giving up on this place until they change their practice as there are many great options nearby.
Service friendly but unhelpful. Some menu items not as described, others not available. Food ranged from poor to pretty good in our party of four. Door to men's toilet would not close - latch broken Not a place I could recommend.

I visited Poutineville Queen Mary on a quiet Wednesday evening at 4 PM. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table occupied. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. There appeared to be only one waitress, Natalia, who served us promptly when we arrived. However, after taking our orders, she seemed to disappear. We waited quite some time for our food, which was surprising considering we ordered a simple burger & a sandwich. Natalia's attitude was disappointing. She was dry & uninterested when we tried to engage in conversation. At one point, we found her in the back, engrossed in her phone, completely ignoring the dining area. The lack of attentive service was frustrating. We needed more ketchup for our fries (which came as a side with our burger & sandwich), but Natalia was nowhere to be found. The restaurant provides ketchup in packets, which is inconvenient & annoying. The overall quality of the food was underwhelming. Nothing stood out, & I expected more from this place. The food took quite some long time for a simple burger & grilled chicken sandwich. I won't be returning to Poutineville Queen Mary. The lackluster service, mediocre food, & Natalia's indifference left a lasting impression. There are better options in Montreal. If you decide to visit, I hope your experience is better than mine! 😊
I go sometimes with my friends for the all you can eat poutines for 20$ on Tuesdays. They also have a special on ipa's & trou du diables in glassesThe waitress is very nice & they play decent music. Only thing is you have to be careful with the poutines as if you eat too much you can be sick. My limit is 7 poutines haha
