Tasty & Filling - Great for a Quick Bite

I stopped by Poulet Rouge near the Salle André-Mathieu in Laval & once again, I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a poutine with Volcano chicken, topped with black olives, fried onions, shredded cheese, spicy mayo, & garlic sauce-& it was just as delicious as I remembered from my usual location at Galeries d'Anjou.

The portions are generous, & it's a perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal on the go. Flavors are bold, & everything was fresh & well-balanced. Definitely a reliable option when you're in the area & want something flavorful without the wait.

We went to Poulet Rouge & really appreciated that the restaurant stays open late on Sundays, unlike many of the other places in the area. The location is also great, set in a very nice & strategic spot.

The chicken bowl was delicious, with generous toppings & great flavor.

What we didn't enjoy as much was the service. The staff didn't seem very friendly & appeared rushed while serving us, even though we were the only ones there. Maybe it was because we don't speak French very well, but it felt a bit uncomfortable.

Other than that, the food was really good & definitely worth trying.

The service is impeccable as always & don't even get me started on the bol rouge, I recommend the bbq chicken with its slightly sweet flavour, it's the best!! ANYWAYS POULET ROUGE SLAYSSSS ✨

Great experience! Very efficient & friendly service. The chicken is delicious. I had the bbq, but I'm told the other flavours rock. The choices for the bowl are nutritious & fresh. Most importantly, everything was super clean. Very nice terrace in the Espace Montmorency. Many lovely young people milling about.

Poulet Rouge offers amazing chicken every time-perfectly cooked, juicy, & full of flavor. The service is just as impressive, with friendly, fast, & attentive staff. It's the perfect spot for consistently delicious food & a great dining experience.

My brother & I do enjoy eating at Poulet Rouge.. It's expensive if I'm being honest, yes we add extra chicken but having a bill of 50-60$ for 2 people is crazy, I know places for 2 people that go for either 30-40$ or 40-50$ with extra.. But food is good, fries are good, the flavors for the chickens are also good but idk maybe add new flavors maybe? Parking near the metro not the best & the sitting area is okay but I'd rather eat at home.. But overall yeah I'd recommend Poulet Rouge but wouldn't go there more once a week.

This place is conveniently located near Place Bell, making it a highly recommended stop if you're attending a concert or event there. Although I was initially put off by the large crowd & how busy it was, the wait was well worth it once I tasted the food. Given the number of people that frequent this spot, the indoor space feels a bit cramped, but there is a large outdoor patio nestled between newer buildings, providing a quiet atmosphere. The food, a delightful combination of rice, chicken, & various add-ons, was truly mind-blowing. I loved every bite & know this place will be a favorite of mine. Despite our limited French & being non-native English speakers, the staff were incredibly patient. I also appreciated the help from other patrons who translated & guided us through the process of ordering.

The mood in here is always great with groups of people chatting & laughing, the location is amazing with tons of outdoor seating outside & a nice plaza surrounded by other businesses, the staff were extremely kind & the price was astoundingly low for the quality & quantity of the food. Having tried the Poutine Bowl with Garlic Shisha Chicken & BBQ Chicken, I could say this is one of the best fast food restaurants in Laval amd the customizability is great too. Would definitely recommend.

The most delicious chicken I ever had! It’s not just chicken like everyone will expect from a chicken place, it’s the rice, the sauces, veggies! The bowls are a full meal, you do not have to compromise your healthy diet! My bowl was big enough for 2 delicious meals ! We place the order & it was ready for pick right away 😁 it’s very helpful when there’s traffic & parking is limited during school pick up hours 😅 you need to have just a little patience with traffic & you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful meal! This is the first time I have tried this restaurant. I told the cashier I had no clue how the restaurant worked. She was really nice & really patient with me even though there was a rush of people. I tried the Red Bowl with one flavor of chicken. I tried the Shisha Garlic with all the fixings, & I don't regret it. It was delicious! From the cashier to the cooks, they were all nice & courteous.
