After several years in the heart of the Portuguese neighborhood in Montreal, gourmet chef Helena Loureiro’s address is transported to new heights, at the junction of the Downtown, Old Montreal and Griffintown districts. We shall receive you in this beautiful place, HIGHLY colorful, located on the 30th and 31st floors at 777, Robert-Bourassa Boulevard. My meal was very good , I took the 120$ tasting menu option & the portions for certain items were extremely small but flavorful.

My waiter was seemingly new as he had issues communicating in english/french & mixed up the names of items multiple times , he named many types of fish for the fish dishes but was uncertain of what they were , finally the second last fish dish with the smoked leek oil was extremely salty , the fish was cooked to perfection but the salt overpowered the whole dish - the final dish being the short rib was fantastic & the highlight of the meal.

The dessert was really disappointing - pieces of maple cookie crumbles with grapes sliced in half & a Natas that is the same you get anywhere in plateau mont-royal amongst some macron - this dessert plate was just thrown together & really nothing made in house I can say that much.
They were missing some portuguese digestives / liquors from Douro region which I requested - I was surprised to know this as they offered me some regular French ones as an alternative .

Le Portus est vraiment une expérience culinaire à découvrir surtout si vous prenez le menu gastronomique à $120 mélange de poisson & viande.Tout y était ,le service , les saveurs des plats & la vue panoramique de la ville qui est de toute beauté.Merci à vous tous pour ce bon moment .❤?😀

I changed my review from 5 stars to two.

We chose the grilled seafood'plate'. The price was absurd for 2 people. There wasnt much in the small cauldron with spicy sauce (not a plate).

The service was also lacking. Long, errors & our wine was dropped without tasting.

Our server didn't come to ask us if we liked the food or not.

For the same price, there are better options in the vincinity, also with a great view (just not 360 degrees).

We had an amazing experience at Portus 360! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the lamb - perfectly cooked & full of flavor. The service was friendly, professional, & attentive. The atmosphere, with the beautiful panoramic view of Montreal, made the evening even more special. Thank you for a wonderful night - we'll definitely be back.
