PORTUS 360 - TOWARDS NEW HEIGHTS! After several years in the heart of the Portuguese neighborhood in Montreal, gourmet chef Helena Loureiro’s address is transported to new heights, at the junction of the Downtown, Old Montreal and Griffintown districts. We shall receive you in this beautiful place, HIGHLY colorful, located on the 30th and 31st floors at 777, Robert-Bourassa Boulevard. Thanks to an ingenious 360-degree rotation system, you will take a "tour" of the city that can be found nowhere else in the greater metropolitan area.
Portus 360 offers a memorable Montreal dining experience with a breathtaking panoramic view as the restaurant slowly rotates, letting guests take in the skyline from every angle. The seafood focused menu is praised for freshness, creative presentation, and flavor, with many noting that the tasting menu provides a thorough tour of the kitchen’s strengths. The atmosphere is described as elegant and romantic, suited for special occasions, and the rotating platform adds a unique element to the evening. Service is consistently remarked as warm, attentive, and professional, though some reviews mention occasional slow pacing or minor gaps during busy times. While portions can be small for the price and a few dishes are described as not quite at the top notch, the majority highlight quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and memorable pairings with wines and desserts. Accessibility has mixed feedback, with some finding the entry and movement manageable and others calling out entry or seating challenges, and reservations are advised because the venue tends to be busy. Overall Portus 360 is seen as a standout destination in Montreal for those seeking a special night out, combining a dramatic view with refined cuisine and attentive service.

My filet mignon was a bit over cooked but everything else was great. The view is spectacular, & this turning restaurant gives you a 360 degree view of Montreal!
Really great place with good Portuguese food. The waitress we had was quite accommodating & very friendly . Overall a very nice experience, although it can get a tad pricey.
I've always enjoyed Portus 360, but my last experience was disappointing. I think they really need to review their service, as it did not reflect the quality I usually associate with this restaurant. Sharing this as constructive feedback
We visited Portus 360 on Saturday, September 6 after experiencing the Aura light show at the Basilica. We were really looking forward to this restaurant - Portuguese fusion (which I've been missing) combined with a revolving 360° view of Montreal sounded perfect.
When we arrived, however, the experience started off poorly. We had been touring Montreal all day & were dressed more casually than some of the other guests. As soon as we approached the hostess (Manal), she told us there were absolutely no tables available without a reservation. Disappointed, we left. But on the way down, I checked OpenTable & saw multiple reservations available for that same evening, including one just 10 minutes later at 8:30 PM.
We booked it immediately & went back up. This time, we were greeted warmly by a gentleman who was born in Montreal but spoke Portuguese fluently. He was kind, welcoming, & spoke with me in Portuguese. But when the hostess returned, we again felt judged for how we were dressed. She reluctantly seated us at a non-window table (which we didn't mind - we just wanted to enjoy the food & wine).
Once seated, everything changed for the better. The service was excellent, & the food was delicious - exactly the kind of Portuguese flavors I'd been missing. The staff who served us throughout dinner were attentive & warm.
At the end of our meal, we gave feedback to the hostess about how unwelcoming the arrival had been. She explained it was her manager's directive not to allow walk-ins. While I understand policies, what stood out is that the restaurant had plenty of empty tables all night. Turning away guests who want to eat & spend money - while other tables sit empty or filled with people just taking pictures (influencers) - doesn't seem like a smart business practice. Worse, it left us feeling like our appearance was the real reason we were initially turned away.
First impressions matter, & unfortunately the'unwelcome' is what stuck with us the most. Even though the dinner service & food was great, we are only giving 2 stars & we won't be back!

The food is good but nothing exceptional, it's a nice place to eat & chat if you're around & you get to see the view a bit more. Price/food ratio is ok.
