I came to pick up for the first time & I ordered the family chicken combo. The portions are very generous & I really find the chicken tender & the sauce is very tasty.
The service was also excellent, definitely would support this family business moving forward.
What a great service, the staff is simply amazing!! We loved the grilled calamari, it was so delicious! Everything was tasty, the chicken! & the Sangria was on point! We will definitely go back.
This is now our new favorite portugese restaurant in Montreal. We ordered chicken for a party & they were super nice & allowed us to take the order hours before opening their door.
We came to visit Montreal from Toronto over the weekend. We were out late & decided to come here for dinner so we didn't know what to expect. We ordered the surf & turf, the half chicken, & the mixed meat. Also ordered a couple glasses of wine, SB, & two espressos. The food is absolutely amazing. Some of the best authentic Portuguese chicken I've ever had. The pork was also very tasty. The portions are great & prices are reasonable. The service is also incredible. This is a must go. Next time we visit Montreal, we're definitely coming back!
I had the chicken poutine today for take out. Good portion & tasty chicken but I would have liked a bit more seasoning from all ingredients. The lady that served us was amazing friendly & gave us the best service there is. I'll surely go if I am in the area again. Charles & Mathieu.
The food & service here is always fantastic! The chicken is always juicy & their homemade marinade is fantastic. The Porto chicken sandwich is also one of my favourites & their house salads too.
Always an amazing experience dine in or take out. The owner is extremely nice & courteous. The food is well seasoned & the portions are perfect! Definitely one of my favorite Portuguese spots in mtl for chicken.
Amazing restaurant with delicious Portuguese chicken & sausage. Ambient summer vibes on the terrace with great music. Everything was to die for. Definitely get their sangria during the summer!

This spot definitely deserves the top spot in Montreal or even worldwide for the outstanding service I've experienced. When we arrived, finding parking was a breeze! Sara & Abida greeted us promptly & were incredibly friendly & eager to assist. They informed us about the specials & accommodated us with outdoor seating on that Friday night (May 31st around 9:30 pm). We ordered the chicken, rice, sausage, fries (sweet potato & normal French fries) & salads, & oh my goodness, the food was exceptional & the service was unbeatable 😍 super delicious & hot / fresh. 🍗 John served us our food & was extremely generous with the portions. He even gave me a fresh salad to take home & treated us to some complimentary shots. I've never experienced better service. I 1000000% recommend Porto Poulet to everyone. I'll definitely be returning for my Portuguese chicken fix, & for my 29th, I'll be booking my party here with friends. Thank you guys again - sorry my review was a bit late ❣️
Absolutely excellent! The quality of the food is outstanding, & every dish I tasted was delicious. The charcoal-grilled chicken is a unique specialty in Montreal, & the accompanying sauce is a must-try, absolutely unforgettable. I highly recommend trying the white wine sangria, as I haven't found better anywhere else. If you're looking to experience for Portuguese cuisine, this is definitely the place to go in Montreal.
This place is simply a gem that I just discovered with my wife. The food was amazing the prices very reasonable & the service top notch. Our waiter Johnny was super friendly knowledgeable & the attention & care he gave was simply remarkable. We sat on the terrace & it got a bit chilly so I had to run to my car to get her jacket. While getting my wife's jacket my plate arrived but had gotten cold. Johnny took it back & had the cooks put the food back on the grill to warm it up & he brought it back piping hot! Now THAT'S service!!❤️. The most delicious chicken I've ever had!! The Nata was better than what we had in Portugal & the cod croquettes were yummy!
