Located in Old Montreal since 2005, Porto Mar is the ideal spot for romantic dinners, business meetings, casual encounters, birthdays and other special events. Our restaurant is located in a beautiful historic building with a unique old world charm.

via LibroI really like Porto Mar, especially for the grilled chicken. It is among the best in Montreal & does not come drowned in a sauce that most other restaurants use. The service is excellent & the salads are also. I had grilled sardines as an appetizer & while they were quite good, the one thing I did not like is that they arrived with their heads on. I'd come back here often as I really like the food & ambiance.

Escargot & monk fish outstanding.
via LibroFriendly staff, nice atmosphere. We felt that the cooking was inconsistent since half of our meal was excellent (chorizo & catch of the day) but the other half was not good (sardines & salmon).
