Love this place. In my opinion, it is the best Korean BBQ in Montreal. Their banchans are great & you can ask for refills. Drinks are very good too. Highly recommend.
J ai fait découvrir le bbq Coréen à ma mère & ma soeur au Pony bbq. Je n y etais jamais aller avant. Tout était parfait!! Dès l'accueil nous avons été chaleureusement reçu par Eva, que nous avons recroiser tout au long de la soirée. Notre table etait prête au moment de notre réservation. Des petites famille, des grandes, en couple ou entre amis, il y a une super belle ambiance !
Mindy, notre serveuse nous a bien conseiller, on allait commander vraiment trop de chose ! Une chance qu on l a ecouter! Elle nous à tout expliquer. Juste assez présente tout au long du service. Nous avons manquer de rien & pu recommander à plusieurs reprise tous les petits accompagnements.
La viande est DELICIEUSE! & je rêve de la petite salade de carotte sur les dumping!
Bien que nous soyons plus que reput, on a pris la crêpe dessert! Wow wow.. simple & délicieuse cannelle sucre noix caneberge..
Je vous recommande sans hésitation le Pony bbq!

Similar concept to similar K-BBQ near by which I visited on my last trip. Like this one better, firendlier staffs, all on my group agreed on food being at least par if not better than the other place. Highly recommended for K-BBQ on downtown Montreal
La nourriture était excellente - tout était savoureux & bien préparé. Le concept du BBQ coréen est vraiment fun & rend le repas encore plus agréable.
La serveuse était super gentille & très attentionnée, elle s'assurait toujours que tout allait bien & ça rend l'expérience encore meilleure.
L'ambiance du restaurant était aussi vraiment agréable, parfaite pour passer un bon moment.
Bref, très belle découverte, je recommande sans hésiter si vous aimez la bonne nourriture & une belle ambiance !

I had the rose tteokbokki - creamy, slightly spicy, & sooo comforting 🤍 - & the cheese corn, which was perfectly melty & indulgent. Honestly, the perfect combo.
The cocktails were also delicious 🍸✨

I came here with company who wanted to try this restaurant & wasn't disappointed with the quality of service & food! The servers were kind, attentive & were quick to assist with cooking our ordered meats. They also refilled our side dishes quickly when we ran low on them. it's a great Korean BBQ place! I was able to recognize almost every K-Pop song they played in the restaurant as well, so that was fun 😆
Wow ! Une des meilleures expériences BBQ coréen que j'ai eues. On se sent vraiment comme si on était en Corée grâce à l'ambiance. La nourriture est absolument délicieuse & le service est impeccable. Les serveuses sont incroyables, souriantes, rapides & pleines d'énergie. En plus, toute l'équipe est super accueillante, attentionnée & vraiment professionnelle. J'y retourne c'est sûr !

Nice Korean BBQ place with a really cool atmosphere. When you walk in, it actually feels like being in Korea: they have screens that look like the subway or Incheon Airport, which is a fun detail. The restaurant is big & spacious, which is great whether you come alone, with two people, or with a group. We were five & it was very comfortable.
The menu has a lot of choice. We took a combo for five people & there was more than enough food. You get a lot of meat plus three side dishes. We chose the corn (really good) & the budae-jjigae (army stew).
About the budae-jjigae: it was okay, but if you've had it in Korea, you'll probably be disappointed. The ramen noodles felt a bit low quality & there was no cheese, so it didn't really taste like the real thing.
The meat itself was very good, & grilling it was fun. The side dishes are refillable, which is a big plus, especially the glass noodles & cucumber. The kimchi was a bit tasteless for me (not very spicy or fermented), better when grilled than eaten as is.
Service was a bit mixed. When the grill got dirty, no one changed it unless we asked. Also later, when it got busier, it felt like only one of the two servers was really working, so things were slower.
One downside is the ventilation because there are extractors over the tables, but they were surprisingly off. Better to put your jacket away.
Overall, good food, nice vibe, generous portions. With better service & ventilation, it would be even better.

The food here is good! We had the mixed pork plate with kimchi stew & the corn cheese. The portions were huge. It was a lot for two people & we actually had to take a break to finish it.
?The decor is nice, though it gets really loud with the music & packed tables (you can still hold a conversation, but it's a bit of a struggle). The only real downside is the ventilation. The exhaust hoods seem positioned too high to be effective. Every time the door opened, the draft blew our BBQ smoke right into the faces of the people at the next table.

Plentiful spread of BBQ meats & comes with tons of small side dishes as it should be in a Korean restaurant. The rest is up to you & your'skills' with the BBQ.
Perfect place for a special dinner! The atmosphere was cozy, the grill experience was fun, & the food was absolutely. Service was good. One of the best Korean BBQ experiences I've had!
Un repas aussi excellent que son rapport qualité-prix. En grande amatrice de Korean BBQ depuis ma plus tendre enfance, celui-ci était particulièrement savoureux & riche. Les conseils de la serveuse étaient parfait & nous on permis d'y passer un excellent moment.

Beautiful new Korean BBQ spot on St. Catherine near Guy....top quality meats, personal plate dishes, soups & some of the best cucumber salad & kimchi we've ever had.
The server Van & runner Cedric were the only 2 staff on the floor. The place was filling up fast but holy cow they are ROCKSTARS! Not only did Van not become frustrated even though I'm sure she was feeling overwhelmed, her friendly personality & smile stayed the same!
Highly recommend this place & we will definitely be going back!
