At that point it's not even a poke bowl. I had maybe 2 tbsp of salmon & toppings & 500g of rice… I was really disappointed to realize I had paid 25$ for basically white rice.
Had a great experience at Poke Monster (Maisonneuve location). What really stood out was how seriously they took my celiac food allergy the staff were attentive, careful, & made sure everything was handled properly. That level of care makes a huge difference.
The Monster poke bowl was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, & very well put together. Definitely the highlight of the visit & something I'd come back for.
The boba tea was decent, probably around a 6/10, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it.
Overall, great spot with solid food & excellent attention to allergies. Highly recommend, especially if you need a place that takes dietary restrictions seriously.
I went to Pokémon on Maisonneuve Street. It's very convenient if you work or study downtown. The poke bowl is large & filling [$17.99], but the toppings are limited, & the bowl was served lukewarm. There was a lot of rice & iceberg lettuce, & the signature sauce barely came through when mixed in. The lady who served us was very polite & nice. Overall, I've had better-tasting poke bowls elsewhere, but it's worth a try for a quick, filling meal.
I really liked the bowl of fried shrimps it's amazing & the girl who served me was so nice 🩷🩷
I ordered off uber eats. I will say, I opted for the Monster bowl. Listen for poke it is more on the pricey side & I expected to be a bit better in terms of the quality/price aspect. I would definitely give it another shot to see how my food experience goes.
i love this place so much i actually smile every time i pass by it. their salmon bowl has me in a chokehold
Bowls lack in quality, in ingredients & aesthetics for the price. Iceberg with rice & half an avocado (okay there's cucumber & carrot too) is deeply lacking for 20$ bowls. Forget the fast food commodity, go to a real restaurant for this money. Profit margins here must be insane!
