Love Neapolitan pizza. This place is open on Sunday at lunch - so it wins points for that. There are certainly other higher rated places I'd like to try, but this was good. Went twice. First time the pizza was very nice. Second time, most of the underside of the pizza was black. Some black spots is normal in this style of pizza, but not the whole bottom of it. My partner's pizza on the other hand, was perfect. We ordered the old style Margherita.
I ordered the "organic four mushroom" pizza, & it was mediocre. Despite the initially clean appearance, the bathroom had an unpleasant odor. The dim lighting revealed dried splashes on the dark-colored toilet seat, & the toilet's positioning made it awkward to sit, stand, & wipe without hitting the wall. Moreover, there were no hand-drying options. While the waiter wasn't rude, her lack of a smile contributed to a less-than-pleasant dining experience.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at pizzeria 900 monkland because of the company & the ambiance. However, my experience was not as good as at the rockland location & here's why.
1) It was insanely hot inside, I was drenched in sweat. Part of it is probably cause of the pizza oven which is so awesome to watch be used. But there needs to be AC or some open windows.
2) The servers at rockland were so so nice & friendly. At monkland, it wasn't the same. The waiter seemed unhappy to be talking to be talking to us.
3) Some pizzas are better than others. I think there need to be some menu changes. I've had almost every pizza & the menu & there are a few amazing ones & a few really not so amazing ones.
I will say though, we love your spicy oil, the tiramisu is amazing, & the tasting olives were so good! I also really enjoyed my blonde Pilsner.
Overall it was a beautiful place to eat, & I had fun. But I don't think I would go back!
Expérience absolument délicieuse 🤩🤤 On s'est régalées de bout en bout ! La pâte à pizza & la garniture (1 pizza Smoked Meat & 1 pizza Cinq fromages). Côté ambiance, c'était jazzy & très cosy! Côté service, on a royalement été servies par Cameron, qui nous a très bien conseillées autant sur les pizza que sur les desserts. Allez-y les yeux fermés 😋😍!!
