Pinocchio Cafè est un café de quartier chaleureux et accueillant où le personnel est constamment sympathique et l'ambiance donne envie de rester. L'établissement accepte les chiens et les enfants, ce qui facilite les visites en famille ou avec un compagnon à quatre pattes, et l'ambiance animée mais confortable convient au travail, aux conversations ou tout simplement à la dégustation d'un sandwich bien fait et d'une boisson chaude. Le sandwich au grilled cheese est mis en valeur avec des versions fraîches comme le Mac Cheese ou une association brie et fromage de chèvre, tandis que le classique est croustillant et réconfortant sans être excessif. Les boissons rencontrent aussi du succès avec un bon café, un chocolat chaud et des options chai maison, et il existe des choix végétariens. La déco ressemble à un album vivant avec des photos sur les murs et des tables colorées qui réchauffent l'ensemble, ce qui donne l'impression d'un lieu qui ressemble moins à un simple café et plus à un vrai foyer de quartier. Quelques avis mentionnent des moments d'agitation ou du bruit et quelques couacs de service, mais dans l'ensemble l'ambiance est chaleureuse, inclusive et centrée sur des aliments de qualité et un service amical.
Love this place to have a nice hangout with friends & kids. Spacious kids area , which is a rare find.
Food is good, & fresh, & many great made to order options. The coffee is good & the brookies are yummy! The service is great, you can tell it's always made with heart.
A couple drawbacks: wishing that the sandwiches were a bit more filling for the price. Not a deal-breaker because I think the product is good. The other drawback is there is not change table in the bathroom . Would be very helpful.
Despitw this, I'll be coming back again & again :)
Delicious grill cheese, sandwiches & coffees. They have a kids corner which is greatly appreciated by parents. The only thing to keep in mind is that they don't have a changing table for babies. But would still strongly recommend & would go back!

The food is great, the coffee & hot chocolate are great. Since it's opening we came almost 2-3x a week & not strictly because of the food/drinks but also because of the staff. Always welcoming, remembers the customers & more.

This cozy little café with a real Pinocchio obsession takes the humble grilled cheese extremely seriously - in the best possible way. Every sandwich is made fresh when you order it (no pre-made, reheated imposters here) & served in a basket meant for enjoying right there, while it's perfectly warm & gloriously melty.
The classic grilled cheese was everything you could hope for: outrageously cheesy without tipping into salty overload, perfectly crisped, & comfortingly indulgent. But the real fun comes from their creative variations.
We tried the new Grilled Mac & Cheese, which turned out to be exactly what our imaginations had hoped for - delightfully decadent & unapologetically comforting.
& the Bugia grilled cheese, filled with brie, sundried tomatoes, & goat cheese. Already a dream combination… but we added honey, & suddenly the whole thing crossed into mind-blowing territory. Sweet, tangy, creamy, crunchy - a sandwich with personality.
The café itself feels like stepping into a living scrapbook. Family & friends' photos line the walls, giving the whole space a warm, genuine charm. The tables are painted in cheerful colors that echo Pinocchio's palette, & instead of bar stools, everyone sits comfortably - which makes it feel even more welcoming.
It's a place that works for absolutely everyone: kids, families, couples, dogs, & people like me who simply show up with a serious grilled cheese craving.
There are books, games, & colouring books for kids, making it easy to linger. It's also a surprisingly lovely place to work for a bit while enjoying a sandwich & a coffee.

Between the thoughtful food, the playful atmosphere, & the genuinely warm people behind it all, it feels less like a café & more like a place where life just naturally happens - one perfectly grilled sandwich at a time.
Every time I walk into Pinocchio I feel so nostalgic & right at home. A great place to enjoy a coffee, sandwich & dessert of course😋 best part… it's pet friendly for our furry friends!!!

Very nice please with a few vegan options. Coffee is very good as well apparently ( I don't drink it) Recently added more seats. Great place in Villeray
We are from Toronto visiting our family in Montreal. What a gem this place is. Very nice staff & amazing sandwiches / gourmet coffees we had. The owner brought us dessert as well which were on the house & amazing. It is an extremely relaxing place, we a real neighborhood feel. Also a pet friendly establishment.
A lovely little spot hidden within Villeray. You'll find it to be a cozy place to get a coffee & read a book, catchup with a friend or just sit there & zone out for a moment. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood where you'll find peace. You'll love it!
I used to go there from time to time when I lived in Villeray about a year ago, & it's hands down the best café in the neighborhood! Though the space is on the smaller side, they absolutely nail the atmosphere with their warm, almost all-wood decor & walls filled with pictures. The food is solid, the coffee is excellent, & they're one of the rare spots that offer macadamia milk-making their mochaccinos at least ten times better!

This place is so cute. It's a small friendly space where you can have your coffee & feel at home. There is a very cute cat that is the space's friend. Very cute & cozy. Specs indeed.
First time there staff was really friendly delicious coffee they have over 20 different types of cookies I will definitely come back with my motorcycle Buddies
