Me & my friend came here for lunch & the service was ridiculously bad. The young server with the ponytail, recommended that we get two potato wedges ordered because they were « too small » , but once we were served the potatoes were huge i don't understand how one serving couldn't have been enough for us, & surprise surprise we couldn't finish them. So we ended up paying 10$ for potatoes! The server never even bother to ask if we liked the food, instead she came rushing with the card machine while my friend was still eating… Then she proceeded to only take her plate & the fork she was eating with ..? Once we had to actually pay she disappeared, we asked to split the bill & she charged me for all the potatoes. So i payed 40$ for mid ass food & terrible service! Insane..
I had a wonderful experience at this cafe. A delicious cocktail recommended to me by Yaakov an expert manager, who also suggested I try their pancakes. Everything about the meal & time spent there was memorable. From the lovely deco,r the great terrasse ,the friendly staff & the very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it to everyone !
Firstly, if I could give half points this would be my rating : 3.5 overall.
The environment was nice, props to the nice decor! I was there on a weekday, not too busy but a few tables were taken. The waiter was overall nice. I purposely spoke French during my whole meal but he took the effort to speak French to me. I have to give him A for effort! The food was average, but presentation was nice! For those who are big eaters, you might not be full. I wasn't that big eater so it was fine portion wise. The meat was a bit salty but I could cope with it. The latte was well executed, strong enough for my taste. For the price, portions could be more generous, but I guess people go for the vibe.
the server was very kind but the food was extremely mid.
my eggs benedict were somehow served cold (including the hollandaise, which I'm not even sure how that's possible), I asked for a new plate & the hollandaise was STILL cold.
the cucumber'salad' had barely any seasoning.
my friends' plates were also barely warm & had overcooked poached eggs.
there was an alarm beeping the entire time we were there.
you could not pay me to come back.
Le pigeon café nous captive par sa décoration soignée. C'est un lieu lumineux & joliment pensé, qui crée une atmosphère tout autant cosy que vivante. Le choix de boissons y est varié & bien maîtrisé, & l'endroit invite naturellement à s'attarder pour y boire un verre ou y manger. La nourriture a l'air excellente, bien que je n'ai pas testé grand chose. Seul bémol: les prix restent élevés, ce qui peut freiner l'envie d'y revenir souvent. Cela dit, l'expérience y demeure agréable !

Went there to get a bite for dinner. The host/waiter was extremely rude. Heavier set gentleman seemed like he didn't want to be there. It's not a family friendly place, so if you have kids, don't go here. It's more of a date night kind of place.
I went to Pigeon Café for a 5 à 7 on Friday & Ryan was my server , he was amazing! Super friendly, attentive, & made the whole experience even better. Great service & great vibe. Highly recommend!
