Restaurant Phuket in the St-Leonard district of Montreal is not your usual Thai cuisine restaurant, this restaurant is a Fusion of Thai and Sushi and both cuisines are highly recommended. Authentic for their Thai with a unique blend of flavors, herbs and spices creating an interesting and delicious combination, and fresh and tasty for their Sushi which is now one of Phuket`s most popular choices.
A Thai meal pleases diners with an harmony of tastes - sweet, sour, hot, spicy and salty. In a meal, all five tastes should be present. A typical Thai meal consists of an appetizer or two - perhaps hot or cold spring rolls and a salad - be it of green mango, papaya or cold beef. Soup is the well-loved Thom yum goong or seafood with coconut milk, tinged with lemongrass. There's usually a curry dish - an emerald curry or a red curry, perhaps a whole fried fish, and noodles, all served with steamed rice. For dessert, look for the delicious fried ice cream topped with honey and chocolate syrup.
All this in a beautiful modern and traditional décor with a relaxing and cozy atmosphere that will please all of you couples, groups and families. Restaurant Phuket is a great choice for any occasion and for the ones who want to try all the different tastes of Thai cuisine and Sushi.
Phuket offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly attentive service and a cozy vibe that suits both intimate dinners and gatherings with friends or family. The menu features fresh, flavorful sushi and Thai dishes with generous portions and consistently high quality, and the option to bring your own wine adds value for guests seeking good price performance. Repeat visitors praise the reliability of the dishes, the creativity of the sushi, and the overall experience, noting quick service and a warm reception that makes guests feel well cared for. The ambiance is lively yet comfortable, making Phuket a great choice for a night out with a group or a quiet dinner, while a few reviews mention occasional menu changes or busy noise levels. Overall Phuket is seen as a dependable favorite for excellent flavors and a memorable dining experience.
Phuket is always great. Sushi if fresh & delicious. Dishes are presented beautifully. Tartare & Tuna tataki are top notch. & the service is always friendly, plus BYOB

The best fusion sushi experience we had as a family visiting from Toronto to Montreal. The atmosphere is very pleasant & comfortable yet elegant & professional; all dishes were super fresh, good seize quantity, delicious & beautifully displayed. Staff & chef were very friendly & helpful. Our daughter first birthday was surprisingly celebrated. Our dinner experience was perfect, a 7-star rating if I could ! Highly recommend to everyone !

Food was very good! But we went on a Saturday evening & it was very busy & super crowded. They were understaffed like many restaurants in Montreal. & there was a group behind us that weren't talking but screaming. It wasn't very enjoyable. Would have been nice for the restaurant to ask them to tone down a bit. But overall would still recommend it since it's amongst the rare restaurants where you can eat great sushi & bring your own wine
Bref on y retourne régulièrement. Luc
Wow! What a discovery. The food was amazing. The service was fast & polite. The atmosphere is basic but you don't need more. They have a great sushi bar, but I recommend the Thai menu. My shrimp red cury was delicious.
