Restaurant Phuket in the St-Leonard district of Montreal is not your usual Thai cuisine restaurant, this restaurant is a Fusion of Thai and Sushi and both cuisines are highly recommended. Authentic for their Thai with a unique blend of flavors, herbs and spices creating an interesting and delicious combination, and fresh and tasty for their Sushi which is now one of Phuket`s most popular choices.
A Thai meal pleases diners with an harmony of tastes - sweet, sour, hot, spicy and salty. In a meal, all five tastes should be present. A typical Thai meal consists of an appetizer or two - perhaps hot or cold spring rolls and a salad - be it of green mango, papaya or cold beef. Soup is the well-loved Thom yum goong or seafood with coconut milk, tinged with lemongrass. There's usually a curry dish - an emerald curry or a red curry, perhaps a whole fried fish, and noodles, all served with steamed rice. For dessert, look for the delicious fried ice cream topped with honey and chocolate syrup.
All this in a beautiful modern and traditional décor with a relaxing and cozy atmosphere that will please all of you couples, groups and families. Restaurant Phuket is a great choice for any occasion and for the ones who want to try all the different tastes of Thai cuisine and Sushi.
Phuket stands out in these reviews for fresh, flavorful dishes and generous portions, with standout sushi and Thai options, attentive service, a cozy yet lively atmosphere, and practical touches like BYOB and good value.
My favorite Thai restaurant in Montréal. I've been going there for years. The staff is always nice, the food is fresh, the portions are generous. Always leave full & happy. The owner is an absolute gentleman & the waiters & waitresses are friendly & responsive. Highly recommended !
Phuket is always great. Sushi if fresh & delicious. Dishes are presented beautifully. Tartare & Tuna tataki are top notch. & the service is always friendly, plus BYOB
This BYOW restaurant welcomes you with a friendly staff & good ambiance. Food is delicious & fresh, Must try in the East end of Mtl. Free parking. I would recommend to reserve since they are always busy.
The best fusion sushi experience we had as a family visiting from Toronto to Montreal. The atmosphere is very pleasant & comfortable yet elegant & professional; all dishes were super fresh, good seize quantity, delicious & beautifully displayed. Staff & chef were very friendly & helpful. Our daughter first birthday was surprisingly celebrated. Our dinner experience was perfect, a 7-star rating if I could ! Highly recommend to everyone !
I have been coming for years & have yet to be disappointed. The menu is extensive & delicious. The sushi is absolutely fresh, wide ranged & tasty. The wait staff is friendly & helpful! I love this place!!

We were lucky to reserve their last table on short notice. They were fully booked as usual. The staff & their service was friendly & efficient. The food was very tasty & fresh, each dish its unique savour. Our party was very happy with our choice to dine at Phuket. We would all recommend it & it's BYOW!
I have been back a few times & had ups & downs. Was there at Christmas & had a whooping time but that was because of the company & not the food.
do not get me wrong the ingredients are all very good & the flavours fresh & vibrant. My recommendation is stick with the regular dishes rather than the sushi which is uneven & I find bland..but then again sushi has been dumbed down for years.
Want something delicious, the eggplant with beef is a winner as is just the eggplant. The shrimps are enormous & very tasty (from someone who does not like shrimp)
You can bring your own wine which means its noisy, but the service is number one & there is a young male waiter that is just too good looking to be true & always smiling.
I will return because of the freshness of the ingredients & the wait staff did I mention the waitresses are also hot!!

So I went here back in February & had a bad experience. Last night I went back & let me tell you, I'm a big fan of this place again. Everything was fresh & delicious. We were 5 & ordered 12 rolls, a sushi pizza & 3 appetizers & every single one of us LOVED the food. Service was good too. Added bonus: this is now a bring your own wine restaurant. Looking forward to going again!!
These were my previous comments:
I've been going to this restaurant for at least 3-4 years & was an avid fan of their sushi. I brought many many friends to this place & everyone was pleased...I hadn't been in at least 6-7 months if not more & sadly I was a little disappointed. I ALWAYS take the sushi pizza & dragon eye which were 2 of my all time favorite sushis, not only at this restaurant but of all the restaurants I've been to & unfortunately last night I was surprised, not only because they changed the look of the sushi but it just didn't taste the same. One of the girls that was with me was trying it for the first time & she wasn't impressed like all my previous friends were. The rest of the sushis were pretty good.
