pho(69) soup(32) banh mi(15) banh(14) broth(13) generous(12) sandwiches(12) spring roll(10) beef(10) chicken(9) price(8) tasty(8)Quick, efficient & delicious! Best hidden gem pho restaurant in the west island. Giant portions & if you're on the go, tasty bahn mi options.
Reasonably priced & big portions. Soup is very tasty. 😋 Totally worth it.
Only can vouch for the phõ was my only meal there
Had the rare beef & definitely less meat than my usual place
Broth was good just unhappy about onions in my phõ
Coriander instead of basil just didn't taste right in my opinion
Everything fresh, worth a try
Awesome Vietnamese sandwich ( called Bánh mì or Banh Mi ). Very good, & quite sizeable. Worth a visit & try.
Good Vietnamese food is hard to come by in the West Island. After trying every spot in the area, Zui Zui is your best bet-but far from perfect. My last visit was in 2024. The food is mostly solid, & I used to really enjoy their imperial rolls, but they changed the recipe last year, & it just doesn't do it for me anymore. That change alone kept me from going back. Prices were fair at the time, though I have no idea if that's still the case. Service is exactly what you'd expect at a typical Vietnamese restaurant-blunt, no-nonsense, & with minimal English. The decor is just as forgettable, but that doesn't matter much as long as the food delivers. The biggest issue? Their water. It has a strange, off-putting taste, almost like rotten onions. Serving clean water is a basic expectation, & it makes me question how clean the place actually is.
Went back twice for take out. Friendly. Price is just right for me. Food smellls right
Portion size extremely generous compared to other pho spots nearby. Delicious broth.
The Phô was deliciously filled with tons of veggies & meat. Awesome flavor. The steamed buns are a hard, nope. Fast dine in service as yooj with Asian restaurants. Typical no nonsense server...never'warm & fuzzy', you already know how it is before you go in! I wish they would let you order the Banh Mi when you dine in.🥺
On my hunt for the best pho in Montreal I've decided to give this place a try. The woman in charge was pretty direct & rough, but i like a strong character so i played along. As for the food, I ordered some peanut dumplings & fresh rolls. The fresh rolls were good, not the greatest but good. The dumplings were not very flavorful, just didn't taste right. The peanut sauce is probably the worst I've had so far, it was super diluted, missing the crunchy peanuts, & not a single dash of spice. Now on to the pho! I keep comparing the pho I taste to what I consider the best place in town: Pho Lien. That place is at the top of my list & is unbeaten thus far. Pho Zui Zui is now way down my list, the condiments were bad, the soup was mediocre, it just had nothing on its competitors. It's a skip for me unfortunately.
what a great spot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! food's cheap, tastes good, & portions are insane. the pho bowl itself is just inexplicably unfathomably humongous i also recommend if you're ever in the area to also take some banh mi's for takeout. the spicy version isn't that spicy (they only put like 3 tiny slices of chili across the whole sandwich)
Meilleure place en ville pour une soupe Pho ! Portions très généreuses & service courtois !
Ate here for the first time in September 2024. Ordered the spring rolls & the #13 pho with rare & well done beef. The service: amazing. Very attentive & polite The atmosphere: small & clean The food: i found the spring rolls had literally 1 whole shrimp inside that was cut in half to make it look like more. My shrimp still have the shell attached... i would not order them again. The large Pho was large. It had the most meat i have had in a Pho soup ever. The broth was ok, not the most flavorful but the quantity more than you could ask for. Overall a decent lunch & I would eat here again...
