Large portions, packed with meat & delicious flavor. Not much room, didn't want to eat inside but took my food to go. The woman serving us was a little rude but I hope it's because she was busy.

Super tasty pho & generous portions. They also have Bahn mi sandwiches. Small downsides... bit of an odd smell in the resto last time I was there & the staff could stand to be a bit more friendly. They aren't at all rude, but don't smile or act like they are in the hospitality industry. I'll be back for the phone anyway. Overall totally a worthwhile spot.

La seule fois de mon existence où j'ai ressenti une pointe de déception devant un bol de soupe tonkinoise fut dans un petit restaurant vietnamien niché dans un demi-sous-sol près de l'université Concordia. Ma contrariété ne mettait pas en cause le goût, mais plutôt la parcimonie des nouilles, viandes & garnitures. Quelques minces tranches flottantes de viande pour un Dặc Biệt ? Franchement ! Pour le reste, les saveurs m'ont toujours paru similaires. On pourrait mettre mon nez sur le banc des accusés, ce même nez qui n'est pas tout à fait équipé pour apprécier à leur pleine mesure les nuances du vin. Je prends ce détour explicatif pour vous enjoindre de ne pas me demander un jour une liste des meilleurs pho en ville, mais aussi pour vous prendre celui du Pho Zui Zui comme contre-exemple de la parcimonie de l'autre : de bons gros morceaux viandes avec des nouilles abondantes. Ainsi, s'il vous vient l'envie d'une soupe Pho & vous êtes dans les parages, une grande bollée de celui-ci à 14 $ devrait amplement faire votre affaire ! Au passage, leurs banh mi énormes à 7 $ vous donneront un meilleur rapport longueur/prix qu'un sous-marin dans une chaîne près de chez vous. Encore là, côté préparation, on reste dans le traditionnel, & de ce fait, cela demeure un produit très satisfaisant, tant pour les papilles que pour l'estomac. Je n'ai pas pris le temps pour vous décrire l'ambiance, ne m'en tenez pas rigueur ! Je n'ai pas eu d'observations dignes de vous être acheminées. Bon, d'accord, laissez-moi vous peindre mes impressions en un mot : Humble. Je recycle le même terme pour le service. Bref, on vient pour une soupe (& peut-être un banh mi) & on repart comblés. Mission accomplie ? Je crois bien que oui.
