Review Summary

Pho Hao receives mixed feedback, with many patrons praising the delicious, rich broth and generous portion sizes that offer great value for the price. While some guests highlight the authentic quality and consistency of the beef pho and sandwiches, others express disappointment regarding inconsistent service, flavor profiles that lack complexity, or the dated appearance of the establishment. Overall, most visitors find the restaurant to be an affordable and satisfying option for traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

We had the spring rolls & chicken pho. The rolls were OK, but mostly rice noodles & the dipping sauce was bland, hardly any flavour. The pho was just OK. It didn't have the complex broth we have come to expect from good pho.

Update: Tried again since Nguyen Phi was closed. My original review stands & I'll add that the service is not friendly.

I was a little let down by the flavor of their broth. It's not as deep & rich as the broth of some of the other restaurants in the area. Just generally kinda bland. I will say that their spring rolls were some of the largest I've ever had. They tasted a little too strongly of fish sauce for my liking. For less money, you can head slightly up the street & get tastier pho.

An authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Reasonable price for the quality of food. The pho Ga was just ok, but the spring rolls were delicious. The udon noodles were disappointing as the broth tasted quite bland.
