Review Summary

Pho Do Thi is widely praised for comforting Vietnamese staples, especially pho and pad thai, with generous portions, a flavorful broth, and friendly, attentive service that makes the experience feel authentic and welcoming. Many reviews describe it as an institution in Montreal, offering fair prices and a bring-your-own-wine option that adds value without inflating food costs. The meals are noted for freshness and heartiness, and the staff are singled out as kind, efficient, and warm, contributing to a consistently welcoming atmosphere. Occasional comments mention inconsistency, such as a dish that did not meet expectations or a lack of sauce on tables until asked, plus a seating issue for some diners. Despite rare hiccups, the broth quality and the range of menu options keep customers returning, with several calling it the best pho or best Tonkinese soup they have had. Overall, Pho Do Thi delivers comforting, flavorful meals and dependable service that resonate with both regulars and first timers.

Used to like that place, idk if it changed or I changed, but last time I tried their general tao it was really disappointing & somewhat expensive. I liked that it comes with veggies & nice white meat pieces, but it was 0 crispy, the breading was viscous. Also the sauce was really unimpressive, it felt no better than the frozen grocery tao packs. Finally, the rice felt like low quality rice that spent too long in the rice cooker & became mushy. Not great.

Le plat tofu & légumes grillés sur nouilles croustillantes est incomparable. La sauce est tellement bonne que je donnerais un rein pour connaître la recette! Super bon service aussi, un de mes restos préf à Montréal!

It's a love story. I use to go to her location on Saint-Denis. She moved to la plaza. I'm probably biased but She makes the Best Vietnamese food. Her spring rolls are fresh, taste fresh. The peanut sauce chicken always been my go to order. Her pho is super good also. & t he fried ice cream is amazing!!! I will forever support her Period. Inflation oblige the prices are up but its worth
