I was in town for a very short visit. I was biking to another place I found on Google & discovered this place on the way. I ordered the large Pho Dac Biet & it was one of the best I ever had anywhere in the world & it was massive! Price was about 16 Canadian dollars which is pretty good price. The broth was very tasty with a good balance of saltiness & the quality of meat was excellent too. I had only this dish & next day ordered the regular size & it was about 1 dollar & about 75 percent of the large. I also ordered some dessert of beans & some kind of creamy drink too. I ended up in Montreal on this trip for about 2 days & had only one meal a day as I had mostly fluids for the rest of the day. The parking situation downtown Montreal is actually now worse than in downtown Boston!!!

Note: Upgraded my review after visiting a second time at a more typical hour of the day. The food was more seasoned & the tables had pepper & chili oil, & the food came with thai chili on the side, now it's fully recommended by me!

I was a bit disappointed with the lack of flavour, I wish there was more than just hoisin & chili sauce at the table, some chili or pickled garlic would be a nice touch considering the broth was very light. The Viet coffee was also very mild. The che ba mau (three colour pudding) was good! I'm going to give it another try in the future because I was sick the day I ate here & it was a holiday so I might not have had the ideal experience.

I have been to this place 4, 5 times over the past year, each time the food has been getting worse & worse. The only reason why I went back yesterday was because their broth is usually really hot, & it was a cold day, but the broth was lukewarm & the meat smelled.

The service was at least always good & always with a smile when it's the lady who's there. But when she's not there it's zero service. I asked for some fresh peppers, & the gentlemen brought the peppers with his fingers. I mean I know it's not an expensive & cheap pho place, but it's still a restaurant there should be a minimum.

There are loads of good pho places in Brossard, IMO this one will not last, & I will not go back.
