About

Pho Bac No1 serves a traditional selection of Vietnamese cuisine centered around aromatic pho and other classic noodle dishes. The menu features long-simmered beef bone broths infused with star anise, ginger, and cloves, accompanied by fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and sliced chilies. Guests select from various protein additions including thinly sliced raw beef, tendon, and brisket, which are cooked instantly within the boiling liquid. Beyond soups, the kitchen prepares crisp spring rolls and vermicelli bowls layered with grilled meats and pickled vegetables. The dining environment maintains a functional, straightforward aesthetic suitable for focused consumption of these hearty soups. Each bowl reflects a commitment to the authentic preparation techniques central to Vietnamese street-side culinary traditions, emphasizing clarity of flavor and consistent, ingredient-forward composition in every single serving.

The wonton soup was delicious, but the imperial rolls 100% stole the show. Probably some of the best I've ever had!! Highly recommend

Sorry I try to support family business but I cant go back there. Place has a very peculiar smell, the atmosphere is kinda heavy & the smell i cant describe. The food was not great, the chicken soup was missing flavor, the chicken was so dry as if it sat out cooked for a long time. The lady was somewhat friendly but not welcoming. Im sure some ppl like this place but its not for me.

BYOW/B. Maltéhops est à un jet de pierre.

My friend & I love the wonton soup here & the Vietnamese iced coffee! The price is fair & the environment is quiet. Best part, the extra large wonton soup is big enough to split between both of us. We each got 10 wonton & some noodles for a total of $19.10 before tax. The ice coffee was $6.60 & super creamy! I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Stick to pho, other soups, & standard Asian fare for a very enjoyable experience. Dare to order novel dishes & you could be agreeably surprised.

I haven't ate a alot Pho soups in different restaurants, because since I tried the soup here, it had became my go to always when I'm craving a hot comforting meal mostly during the cold days of winter. Totally recommend it

It was crowded, but the service was good. The Pho soup was plentiful & delicious. It's a great place to try new flavors.
