Un classique du Chinatown ... New york de l'autre côté de la rue est plus fancy mais pas meilleur ..depuis la fermeture de Cali je suis revenu a mes anciens amour .... Un plaisir chaque foisView more
Les employés étaient très accueillant. On est venue commander pour 2 soupes pour emporter une moyenne & une x large. On a eu 2 de la même grosseur & vraiment pas beaucoup de viande....pour 45$ c'était que des nouilles...View more
For years, Pho Bac was our'go to' place for Pho in Montréal. Their broth was perfect! The flavours of, practically, everything on the menu was perfect - & we've pretty much tried it all. We ate there so often the servers knew us & we recommended it to so many people, we've lost count.
Unfortunately, about a year ago, the restaurant was overwhelmed with this horrible smell of…..sewage? Initially, we thought perhaps it was a broken pipe or something & it would be temporary. But when we went back a couple of weeks later, the smell was still there. The third time we went back, the smell was so strong, we actually left & went to a dumpling place across the street.
A few months back, we decided to give Pho Bac another shot. It was our place, after all, & we hadn't found another Pho that even came close. But as soon as we walked in through the door, that awful smell of stale urine & old pipes went straight up our noses. We just turned around & left. We haven't gone back.
It kills me to give this places anything less than 10 stars. The food really deserves it! It really is the best Pho in Montreal. But the smell is unbearable & it kinda makes you wonder - that horrible smell is clearly caused by something & if they haven't felt the need to fix it in over a year, what else is being neglected in the background, ya know?View more
J'étais un habitué de ce resto qui était à proximité de mon travail où on y sert des soupes pho. Malheureusement la qualité de la nourriture a diminué. Le bouilon est moins parfumé & trop salé.View more
Regardless of whether you are eating there or taking out you will be given a pot of warm tea. The pho is excellent.View more
A small Vietnamese restaurant located right in Chinatown. I ordered the bun bo hue. It is very authentic & tasted perfect. I highly recommended ordering this dish if you are looking for some good quality Vietnamese cuisine.View more
Food was good but service was bad. $2 was charged for each item as service charge, even for takeaways. But the service was bad - I have waited for 5 mins until someone came to take my order, despite no one's in the line. The staff taking order for me was also rude. I was told that they don't provide food in small portion despite they have it on the menu. They also didn't provide cutlery for takeaways.View more
Pho bac is one of my go-to pho locations. Amazing pho, best chicken pho I've had. Service is always friendly & fast!View more
good pho.
would come back again. Not too busy & food came out quickly. Odd smell, similar to cat pee? You get used to it after a couple minutes but definitely brings down the atmosphere upon enteringView more
Eating there is now a depressing experience. The old team is still there holding the fort. The decor needs major love. The bowl sizes have shrunk & the meat got dry, business is booming regardless, but I've lost hope.
Places like these show that a good bowl of pho can't be found in c-town anymore.View more
The food was good. Unfortunately the only time I went with my husband it smelled awful as we walked in. Hope they can fix thatView more
