Extremely generous portions & prices, & the jazz playing just brings a nice homey ambience to the establishment. BYOB if you feel like imbibing. The pho broth is incredible, savoury & light. It could use more salt imo but that's what the shakers at the table are for, so it's probably best they err on the side of caution for any low sodium folks out there.
The broth for the soup was delicious. The main dish of chicken & beef with vermicelli noodles & salad was ok. The salad came with pickles lol which goes to show the influence of the clientele perhaps. (Should definitely be mentioned in the menu for those who don't like pickles) Ordered the fried banana & that was not at all at all good. Just a simple mushy flour battered over ripe banana with, get this, FAKE MAPLE TABLE SYRUP. I was really looking forward to a nice banana not a nasty over ripe banana , in tempura batter with warm honey & sesame seeds. Crunchy has to be honey!!
Hands down the best pho in Montreal!
The broth is clear & flavourful & the portions are generous. I'm so glad to know about this hidden gem
Great beef broth , nice cozy atmosphere
Fast service , we will be back for sure
Pho Anni was good, though not the best broth I've had. It was still enjoyable but lacked a bit of depth. They're very generous with their meat portions, can't complain about that at all. Service was simple & straightforward.
Was here for lunch, had a yummy spring roll, a hearty bowl of pho Annie, the broth is very well balanced & a nice raspberry lemon cookie to finish it off. Will definitely come back here next time I am in the area.
Average pho broth just need to add hoison & Sriracha sauce to enhance flavor. Good combo value.
as a pho connoisseur, this is the best broth money can buy! & byob?! Cmon now
I've had the pho three times now & I won't be returning. For some reason, the rice noodles are always cut short & overcooked. The broth isn't very flavourful or rich - it requires a lot of hoisin & Sriracha to give it a good flavour. Nice clean resto & fast service but the pho just doesn't cut it.
After reading the exciting reviews, I decided to go & try their Pho soup. I ended up trying the soup, imperial roll & shrimp tempura. The food was good...I will probably not go again, the broth was a bit bland.
I also found the waiter to be surprisingly standoffish.... & the service was a bit slow in my opinion since there was only one other table awaiting for their food.
