I was in need of some good-quality comfort food, & being married to a Greek, I've had the chance to eat a lot of wonderful Greek food over the years-both at home & in Greece.

I'm originally from Beloeil, although I no longer live here, & I've seen a few'Greek' restaurants come & go over the years, so I honestly wasn't expecting too much. I ordered the sausage, grilled sardines, zucchini & Greek salad to go. I was exhausted & headed home with my big order, hoping at least to have some nice leftovers.

Wow, was I ever surprised!

The sardines were grilled to perfection-exactly the way I love them & have eaten them many times by the seaside in Greece. The sausage was so good that I had the leftovers for breakfast the next morning with eggs. It came on a bed of fresh red onions, which were absolutely perfect with my breakfast.

The Greek salad was fresh & crunchy, with beautifully ripe tomatoes. The zucchini portion was incredibly generous-easily enough for four people-& came with tzatziki. They were still warm & crispy even after the drive home & reheated beautifully in the oven the next day.

& then there was the unexpected treat: they had kindly added some fried dough balls with honey for dessert. I don't normally order dessert, but I tried one…& ended up eating three! They were delicious & tasted completely authentic.

You can feel the love in both the food & the presentation. This is authentic Greek cooking like I've enjoyed so many times in Greece. What a wonderful surprise to find it here in Beloeil. Don't miss this place!
