bibimbap(29) korean(23) cozy(12) recommend(10) beef(8) coreen(8) price(7) soup(7) bbq(7) authentic(6) monkland(6) highly recommend(5)Hopes were rather high based on the latest reviews... frankly we were quite disappointed by the beef bibimbaps, overall lacking flavour & a rather odd choice of ingredients. Felt waaaaay overpriced for the quality. Miso soups were more palatable. Service was pleasant, however space definitely felt cramped since we were a table of 3 squished between the wall & a much bigger group. Overall atmosphere was welcoming though, cozy vibes all the way. Also wondering why tips are still being calculated after taxes after the bill was passed?
Cute little restaurant in NDG, some of the tastiest Korean food I've had in Montreal. We went for the Korean BBQ for 2, it was delicious & we felt it was very good value. The bibimbap was the best I've had. Service was efficient & quick, & the place is very nicely decorated. If you're looking for a place with some intimacy, this is definitely one.
One of my favorite lunch spots on Monkland. Food is consistently yummy, ambiance is nice, & service is quick for those that need to have a faster lunch. I have come with friends, my husband, & even solo. Definitely recommend!
Absolutely love this place. Cozy, delicious, perfect. Favourite Korean food in Montreal, honestly ♥️ Bulgogi bibimbap & Ginseng Sake to die for!
Delicious Korean food. Had the kimchi, general tao & sizzling udon & they were all fantastic.
I always believe in Google ratings, but this is the Worst Korean food I have ever eaten. We ordered three kinds of dishes, & the side dishes were all the same. The teriyaki beef sauce tasted too strong & lacked the deliciousness of the beef. Plus There is no price displayed on the menu, most price of Korean food generally does not exceed 25$/person, but here for two people, it cost us 70$+tips, the dishes is not worth the price at all!! & they don't have the most classic tofu soup & seafood pancake...what kind of Korean restaurant it is🥲 Je crois toujours aux notes de Google, mais c'est la pire cuisine coréenne que j'ai jamais mangée.
We went with friends when visiting MTL. This was their old neighborhood. The food, service, & atmosphere was perfect. It was so cozy they had to (politely) kick us out at closing.
Superb! I can't tell you how authentic & incredible the experience is here. You need to try it for yourself. Ambiance feels truly authentic, the food felt like we hopped on a plane to Korea & are eating at a jewel. This place is incredible.
Cute little eatery in NDG. The food was great, service was efficient, & the exterior/interior decor was nice. Personally found that the prices were higher than most Korean restaurants in town, but the food was not disappointing. Thank you Le Petit Tokebi!
A little bit expensive compared to other Korean places for the quantity & quality. The bibimbap had the smallest clump of rice at the bottom & the beef did not taste fresh. It's a cozy restaurant with a semi private feel since there are curtains hung between tables.
