Review Summary

Petit Tokebi is described as a charming, intimate spot with a cozy, private feel that works well for dates and relaxed meals. Bibimbap is repeatedly praised, with many calling it the best in Montreal and the miso soup a standout, though a few reviews note a small menu and occasional inconsistency. The atmosphere is often described as super chill and welcoming, with distinctive decor and a touch of jazz that enhances the dining experience. Service is generally fast and friendly once seated, though some reviews mention a first come, first served policy and that the owner isn’t always there to serve. The space is noted to be very small, sometimes feeling smaller than it looks, with a private Asian vibe and a tiny outdoor terrace that adds charm. Occasional cleanliness concerns are reported, but many diners agree the meals are delicious and the portions are generous for two, offering good value. Overall, Petit Tokebi stands out as a reliable option for tasty Korean dishes, a memorable intimate setting, and a go-to for a pleasant, uncomplicated meal with a date or a casual outing, while acknowledging that the experience can vary.

Oh hell yeah. You know those Saturdays where you just run out for an errand & then it ends up being a smooth, unhurried, peaceful day with someone you love? Well, this sizzling bowl of noodles & chicken washed down with a frosty beer on a frigid December day was the perfect respite. Plus we got to hear every word of a successful first date in the booth beside us, which was awesome. Then walking along Monkland & popping into different stores, picking up this & that with a bellyful of wonderful food, jumping in the car & going home & unpacking & watching some good tv, it just doesn't get better than that.

Amazing experience! Quiet lunch with a friend. We had the sizzling seafood & tofu yaki udon in rock bowls. Very tasty & ooh so very good 👍 Highly recommend this restaurant 👌

We loved it! I don't know enough about Korean food to know if its really good Korean food or not, but it was delicious for us. We had imperial rolls, miso soup, a salad, the Korean BBQ, & bibimbap (the hot bowl with rice & veggies & meat & an egg). Yum!

One of the best bibimbaps I’ve tasted. I’m not a fan of bibimbap but this one converted me.

The tempura shrimp & the pork Tonkatsu weren’t winners (they were just ok) however, the bibimbap is truly worth a trip to the restaurant. The stone bowl kept the food hot all the way to the end.

Never disappointed with their bibimbap, the stone bowl stays hot until the end (& I'm a slow eater), so the rice at the bottom is extra crispy. The quality of their kimchi topping is top-notch. The only thing preventing it from being perfect is they offer sriracha instead gochujang.
