Review Summary

Petit Tokebi is described as a charming, intimate spot with a cozy, private feel that works well for dates and relaxed meals. Bibimbap is repeatedly praised, with many calling it the best in Montreal and the miso soup a standout, though a few reviews note a small menu and occasional inconsistency. The atmosphere is often described as super chill and welcoming, with distinctive decor and a touch of jazz that enhances the dining experience. Service is generally fast and friendly once seated, though some reviews mention a first come, first served policy and that the owner isn’t always there to serve. The space is noted to be very small, sometimes feeling smaller than it looks, with a private Asian vibe and a tiny outdoor terrace that adds charm. Occasional cleanliness concerns are reported, but many diners agree the meals are delicious and the portions are generous for two, offering good value. Overall, Petit Tokebi stands out as a reliable option for tasty Korean dishes, a memorable intimate setting, and a go-to for a pleasant, uncomplicated meal with a date or a casual outing, while acknowledging that the experience can vary.

Had such a fun night this weekend at Le Petit Tokebi. It's a very small, intimate Korean spot that feels authentic the minute you walk in. We were four & all really enjoyed it.

We started with edamame, spring rolls, & dumplings. All were fresh, flavorful, & perfect for sharing.

We each ordered the bibimbap & it did not disappoint. I had the beef & loved it. So flavorful & perfectly cooked.

Service was warm & attentive, portions were generous, & the quality of the food was excellent. It's great authentic Korean food in a cozy setting & very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

Hopes were rather high based on the latest reviews... frankly we were quite disappointed by the beef bibimbaps, overall lacking flavour & a rather odd choice of ingredients. Felt waaaaay overpriced for the quality. Miso soups were more palatable. Service was pleasant, however space definitely felt cramped since we were a table of 3 squished between the wall & a much bigger group. Overall atmosphere was welcoming though, cozy vibes all the way. Also wondering why tips are still being calculated after taxes after the bill was passed?

I always believe in Google ratings, but this is the Worst Korean food I have ever eaten. We ordered three kinds of dishes, & the side dishes were all the same. The teriyaki beef sauce tasted too strong & lacked the deliciousness of the beef. Plus There is no price displayed on the menu, most price of Korean food generally does not exceed 25$/person, but here for two people, it cost us 70$+tips, the dishes is not worth the price at all!! & they don't have the most classic tofu soup & seafood pancake...what kind of Korean restaurant it is🥲 Je crois toujours aux notes de Google, mais c'est la pire cuisine coréenne que j'ai jamais mangée.

A little bit expensive compared to other Korean places for the quantity & quality. The bibimbap had the smallest clump of rice at the bottom & the beef did not taste fresh. It's a cozy restaurant with a semi private feel since there are curtains hung between tables.

Best restaurant everrrr. Great atmosphere & d feeling of welcoming & survice really well. The only orblem is that it's a little small the tables so if you are claustrophibiwue I wouldn't go. But the food overall is amazing especially the noodle with beef! Mhhm I'm drooling just thinking about it! Really recommended

There are better alternatives like Sopoong in the neighborhood for bimbimbap. The beef although was plentiful, was not flavourful. The chicken katsu dish was better than the bimbimbap. The atmosphere has a jazz & cozy feel.

Ended up here because another restaurant We wanted to try was closed. It was a good accident. The bento fried fish was good, beef bibimbap better. Loved the Kim chi. We sat outside under some plants & an umbrella. It provided some privacy form Monkland while still allowing people watching. Over all a nice experience & we would like to go back to sit inside & have the Korean BBQ. It looks really cool!
