Review Summary

Petinos receives praise for tasty food and generous portions, especially brunch staples like eggs Benedict and potato sides, with dishes described as fresh and flavorful; the atmosphere is wonderful, modern, and lively, though the space can be very loud on busy weekends; service is frequently described as fast and attentive and the staff generally friendly and professional, but experiences vary with some guests noting slower service during peak times or occasional gaps in attention; several reviews highlight efficient seating and consistent quality, while others recount less satisfying moments and even questions about tipping policies and how tips are applied; some diners also note halal options, adding to the breadth of the menu; overall it appears to be a popular, well-regarded breakfast and brunch spot with good value for portions, a broad menu, and a strong emphasis on a welcoming staff, though crowds and occasional inconsistencies temper the experience.

Overall good, but desapointed with no gluten-free choices like bread, crepes or pancakes.

It's been years since I've revisited Petinos & I regret not having gone more often. They've certainly maintained their quality throughout the years unlike many other brunch places I've been to lately. I highly recommend the "Versant" if you're looking for a typical brunch platter, although this is much better quality than the typical. The crepes have perfect texture & taste incredible & fresh, even though I ordered them with my breakfast platter (as opposed to a crepe platter). Note there is no reservation at this restaurant & the wait is usually long on your typical weekend so I would try to go on less busy days. However, the wait would be worth it if you do end up going on a weekend. Since my other go-to brunch places have let me down lately with their "shrinkflation" quality, Petinos will certainly become my go-to in the future.

After hearing about the good food from my friend (who goes to Lasalle rest), we decided to try it yesterday. This was the worst decision we made! Firstly there were no lunch specials like in lasalle & when I asked the waiter thought I was nuts. We should have walked out, but decided to stay. I ordered the asparagus & swiss cheese crepe & my guest ordered belgian waffle. While the order arrived at our table in seconds, there was no way they had just made both. Not only was crepe cold, i could not cut my spears os asparagus. I asked waiter for a steak knife, & this also did not work. He spoke to manager & said i could order another item. The crepe w berries was also cold! Waffle was also cold. We should have walked out! I will never go to Petinos again & wll ensure my friends & family dont go either. What a waste of money!
