Reviews describe Petinos as a lively breakfast and brunch spot with generous portions, a broad menu and food that many guests find tasty and comforting, and the atmosphere is often described as welcoming with friendly staff and reliable value, though several visits note variability in service speed and attentiveness depending on the time and crowd, with busy mornings, longer waits and occasional lapses such as slow water service, miscommunications or seating tensions, many diners praise dishes like eggs Benedict, waffles, avocado toast and smoked salmon and say portions are substantial, while a few reports mention items that did not meet expectations like rye bread that was over toasted, dishes served cold or spinach in eggs florentine that used frozen spinach, noise levels and seating comfort can vary with outdoor areas sometimes needing shade and umbrellas, overall Petinos remains a dependable option for a hearty breakfast or brunch with warm hospitality, though weekend crowds and occasional inconsistencies should be anticipated.
It's not the first Petinos i've been to, but this one was slightly better than the others i've been to. Food was made with more love I guess because it definitely tasted better.
Place is nice & clean, & we had good service from our waiter. He wasn't as attentive as some others, could be because they were busy closing, but was still very polite.
Had a family lunch & we all had a great experience there. The food was good & the service was awesome, especially Sophie.
Will definitely go back again!!
Food is very good. We had avocado Benedict, American shared plate & half waffle with banana & peanut butter sauce. All are amazing. A bit pricey, it's a nice treat myself on the weekend.
Excellent food & service.
Our server, Justice Bongiovanni, was extremely professional & friendly.
I worked in restaurants & bars for 15 years & I truly appreciate good service.

Petinos is one of the too breakfast spots in the city.
I recommend trying the Montérégie Half Waffle with Strawberries, English Cream & Nutella. The waffle tastes great. It comes with eggs & sausage. Eggs are cooked to your choice. I had over easy eggs & they were cooked perfectly. I also recommend upgrading to Petinos potatoes, they add cheese & hollandaise sauce on top of the potatoes! Totally worth the 3.50$. The meal also comes with toast & coffee. Very good value. I always have a great experience at Petinos!
