Petinos est fier de son service ultra attentionné et de la variété infinie (ou presque) de son menu. Petinos a de quoi plaire à toutes les bouches. Que vous ayez le goût de quelque chose de sucré, de quelque chose de savoureux ou d'un peu des deux, nous avons ce qu'il vous faut.
Petinos est largement salue pour une nourriture excellente et des portions genereuses, avec une ambiance chaleureuse et un service rapide et attentif meme en periode d'affluence. Le menu varie du petit dejeuner au brunch, avec des options genereuses et savoureuses comme gaufres, crepes et plats a base d'oeufs, souvent descrits comme delicieux et presents avec soin, et certains plats sont cites pour leur constance et leur fraicheur. Les visiteurs recommandent fortement de reserver car l'endroit est souvent occupe, surtout le weekend. Le personnel est majoritairement percu comme accueillant, efficace et chaleureux, mais quelques experiences negatifs mentionnent des incoherences de service ou des remarques sur le comportement de certains membres; malgre cela, la reputation globale reste favorable et les clients se sentent bien pris en charge. L'ambiance peut etre animee et bruyante en interieur, avec une petite terrasse sur le cote et des portions qui restent genereuses meme en periode d'affluence. Globalement Petinos est vu comme une destination fiable pour un petit-dejeuner ou un brunch de grande qualite, avec de la fraicheur et le gout qui donnent envie de revenir.
I recently dined at Petinos in Laval & unfortunately, my experience was not as expected. We ordered two dishes from the'Montérégie' section, which include a half waffle, eggs, meat, beans, bread, & potatoes. We requested to swap the waffle for a crepe (with a $1 upcharge) & opted out of meat & beans due to dietary restrictions.
When it came to the eggs, I chose an omelette, but the waiter did not mention any additional charges for the omelette, i asked if the omelette came with any toppings & he said it comes with 1 choice so i said ok ill do cheese i guess. I believe the waiter may have misunderstood when i asked if the omelette comes with any toppings. Because why is it when i got the bill i was charged extra for the omelette & extra for the cheese! So already 2$ extra to swap the waffles for a crepe, we asked for strawberry also inside one of the crepes another 1$, & they charged 1$ for the omelette which they never mentioned & it doesnt say in the menu what egg choice you can have with your plate, & then 3$ for the cheese in the omelette that i didnt really care for but i figured since the waiter said i can have 1 choice with the omelette i went for it. What upset me the most is even though we removed the meat which is themost expensive part of the whole plate & we removed the beans they didnt offer to replace it with any of the other choices. & on top of that i chose the banana peanut butter nutella crepe with english cream, i received just banana & nutella, when i mentioned it to the waiter after i cut through it & noticed it wasnt what i ordered he just took my plate back & he added a little drizzle if peanut butter & a but if cream instead if just changing it. I had to tell him to replace it!
So 2 plates ended up coming at 67$ &
Overall, while the food itself was okay, the unclear pricing & extra charges without explanation left a negative impression.
Always love coming to this good old Petinos. Always fresh, always generous portions, fresh food & most importantly, prestige service! They have a small terrasse on the side, large inside room for large & small groups! I have been coming here for years & aways take the Mirage plate for their delicious crepe & large French Toast!

Had the crepe with grilled chicken & mushroom. It was fine.
Went another time & tried their waffle cheescake.
Unfortunately, there's always a lineup in breakfast places like this that don't take reservations.
We were'forced' to eat under their tent as they had no place inside. It was windy, & the tent was always moving near our table. It was annoying.
I went to Petinos Sunday morning. They used to have on their menu 2 eggs, choice of meat, potatoes with a banana Nutella crepe. I noticed that it wasn't on the menu anymore so I was asking the waitress if that same platter only came with the banana pancake if I can have a Nutella crepe instead. She didn't answer me she just wrote down my order. When I got my plate they made the pancake into a crepe with Nutella. It was thin & hard. & the sausages were horrible. They changed them. I think there veal sausages now. I used to have recommended this as a good breakfast place but now I would not.
We recently revisited this breakfast spot for the first time in over seven years, & it was just as fantastic as we remembered! Having lived in Montreal, this was always one of our go-to places, & we were thrilled to see that the quality, atmosphere, & service have remained top-notch.
The food was fresh, delicious, & perfectly prepared-just like in the past. From the rich, flavorful coffee to the perfectly cooked eggs, Crêpe & fluffy French toast, everything was spot on. The portions were generous, & the ingredients tasted high-quality.
The service was warm & welcoming, making us feel right at home despite the time away. It's rare to find a restaurant that maintains such consistency over the years, but this place has truly stood the test of time.
We'll definitely be back again-& hopefully won't wait another seven years this time!
We are regulars at Petinos & can always count on this restaurant for an amazing, filling, photo-worthy breakfast! Great for groups & staff is super sweet. All their dishes & drinks have been phenomenal up to now. We've been going for years & we will keep going for years. My favourite drinks; iced coffee; any smoothie; & pina colada. My go-to dishes; half-waffle with apple slices & caramel; 3 little pigs omelet; half-waffle with oreo (very sweet!); crepe with nutella, bananas & strawberries; & hollandais benedict. All of these are absolutely incredible & you will have left-overs. It's family friendly & many of the waiters also speak greek (P.S. I would attach more photos but I always jump right in before I could even get a photo)
Disappointed, very loud you cannot have a conversation, food is tasteless, had the crepe with bacon & cheddar. Bacon was ok, there was only a whiff of cheddar, potatoes were oily, Hollandaise sauce was tasteless I don't even know what it was just yellow goop. The waiter was nice the place is clean I would not eat there ever again.

I went on sunday, service was great but the food was not like usual. My waffle was hard & cold & the crepe was tiny, not the usual size & Benedict was over cooked worst experience since I've been coming there hope it's not a trend do better Petinos
We were a small group yesterday First time at petinos everything was amazing. Omelet & crepes perfectly prepared. My pancakes were so fluffy & delicious Best I've ever had
