My favourite food spot during our trip. I found it at random when looking for something to do in Longueuil, where we were staying. It was busy for a Thursday around 11 am. We ordered a poutine, gravlax on viater bagel & a kids meal. Meals took a while to get to the table but when it got here, it was glorious! Really enjoyed the cream cheese spread. My partner enjoyed his poutine as well. Would visit again :)

Hon! Je suis chanceux d'avoir été accueilli même si ça fermait. L'endroit est chaleureux. Le staff souriant. La nourriture est de superbe qualité. Tout le contraire de la restauration en chaîne… Un gros 5 étoiles pour moi. 🤩

We are visiting Montreal from Australia - if you are looking for high quality classic French Canadian food & coffee , highly recommend Pêche Matinal. Very nice customer service also - 👍👍👍👍👍

Had brunch at Péché Matinal & ordered the Benedictine. The portion was generous, & the smoked salmon added a pleasant, savory richness. That said, the hollandaise was a bit too heavy & looser than expected, which threw off the balance of the dish. The bread also felt rather dry, which made the overall bite less satisfying. It was certainly a filling plate, but the Benedictine could use a few refinements to really shine.

We were a group of three visiting for brunch on a Saturday. There was a long line, & we ended up waiting about 40 minutes to be seated. The place has a nice vibe, although the seating space is a bit limited with outdoor options.
The menu offers a great variety of options. I ordered the gravlax on a St-Viateur bagel which was a little hard but decent overall. I did find the prices to be on the higher side compared to the food quality.
The restaurant is in a great location near a park, which adds to the experience. Overall, I enjoyed my visit & would come back to try some of the other items on the menu.

Première fois qu'on viens ici, on est arrivé sans savoir que la cuisine était déjà fermé mais le serveur a été très gentil & nous a laissé quand même rentrer & commander, très bon service & la nourriture 10/10 très très bonne! Ça vaut la peine, c'est sûr on va revenir 😁
