Patate et Persil offre une ambiance chaleureuse au bord de l'eau avec une terrasse agréable et une décoration colorée qui invite à la détente, et la cuisine y est souvent décrite comme inventive et savoureuse avec des classiques réconfortants ainsi que des options sans gluten ou véganes. Le service est généralement cordial et attentif, les portions généreuses et les prix raisonnables renforcent le plaisir de l'expérience, et la carte propose des variations de poutine, burgers et sandwichs qui plaisent autant aux familles qu'aux amis, tout en offrant des choix sans alcool et des cocktails attractifs. Le cadre permet de profiter d'un repas détendu en extérieur ou à l'intérieur, avec une vue sur le fleuve qui fait l'unanimité comme atout majeur, et la constance de la qualité des plats et l'accueil du personnel en font une adresse à retenir pour une sortie conviviale. En somme, Patate et Persil ressort comme une destination prisée pour son atmosphère paisible, ses plats créatifs et son rapport qualité-prix généreux, ce qui en fait une halte recommandée pour passer un moment agréable en famille ou entre amis.
this is my second time at this restaurant, first time was great !! food was delicious & service excellent. Unfortunately this time not so great. Food was ok although the tourtiere wontons were great. My burger was ok but the fries were cold. My girlfriends mumbai chicken sandwich was just mediocre did't really taste like butter chicken, it was mostly raw onions. Service was lackadaisical at best. Hope they can get it back to their old super service & food.

L'endroit est incroyable. Bâtisse, terrasse au bord de l'eau, tranquillité. On adore.
Deux petits bémols. La carte un trop simpliste. C'est très bon, mais sandwichs-burgers-croquettes...on aimerait voir quelque chose d'un peu plus évolué que du style fast-food qu'ontrouve partout, l'endroit mérite mieux. & il faut penser à nettoyer les menus. Avoir en main avant de manger une carte tachée-séchée par les clients précédents, ça n'est pas très râgoutant.
Le menu propose une sélection autour de différentes catégories telles que poutine, sandwich, burger & une sélection saisonnière. C'est un bel endroit pour une soirée décontractée avec famille, proches, amis, dates, conjoint.
Il y a plusieurs options végétariennes & des drinks sans alcool. Les sandwichs & la poutine au choux-fleurs général tao sont des choix vraiment populaires. J'ai personnellement pris la guédille; c'était délicieux & la portion était bonne pour 22$.
L'ambiance en une journée chaude d'été est exceptionnelle. Nous nous sommes installés à l'extérieur, les pieds dans le sable & la vue sur l'eau.
Le personnel est tellement gentil, courtois & festifs. Tout ça mélangé ensemble font du Patate & Persil un endroit incontournable pour passer un moment mémorable. ❤?
*** Expect to be disappointed *** I'm giving only 2 stars for the nice patio seating by the water, & decent inside appearance. Points deducted because of the following: 1) Service was painfully slow. Customers who were seated long after us were served food before us. We (wife & 2 kids) waited 45 minutes to get our meals...& that's after inquiring about it twice. They didn't offer any courtesy for their mishap....just a sorry. 2) A) The standard sized classic poutine costed me 11.50$, which is not a bad portion for the price. However, the quality is an embarrassment: neither was the cheese melted, nor the gravy hot....truly childish quality. My young son wasn't impressed either...found it dry. B) My wife's sandwich turned out to be open faced. Had the menu mention it, she wouldn't have ordered it. She was satisfied with the quality though.
The food was excellent. We had the chèvre & tomato burger, balsamic chicken sandwich, fish & chips, fries, & onion rings. The food wasn't greasy, & the cheese & potatoes were particularly delicious. The portion sizes were generous. The service was friendly & quick, with bilingual staff. The atmosphere is cozy, & if the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting outside to enjoy the great view.
Superbe petit coin de paradis le long de l'eau, une déco super sympa, des sandwichs & hamburgers non classiques dont végétarien, un accueil & un service super sympa, un chouette sangria new Orléans, franchement on ne rêve pas mieux !

I've heard great things about this place for many years but had never been until this weekend. It's truly as good as everyone says it is!! It's casse-croûte but fancier, more restaurant style than anything like Belle Pro, & still affordable. There's 2 outdoor seating options on their terrasse by the water: on the deck beneath a cute cloth awning, or at the tables in the sand under umbrellas for a real beach vibe! The food is delicious, the ambiance is perfect for summer, & the staff is very friendly! I've heard it gets very busy at peak hours, but around 3:30pm for a late afternoon bite & a drink it felt like the ideal time to enjoy the vibe without being either crowded or empty. (was able to find parking at that time too!) Ordered the Lyonnais sandwich, it was SO good & not overly Dijon-flavored, chicken quesadillas that were just amazing, & tartuffo ice cream for dessert!
I wish I had taken photos of the food, or the view, but at the same time, I'm glad we just enjoyed the moment. This place is such a gem. The terrace is a backyard beach that overlooks the water & the menu is well rounded, offering everything a casse-croute would, up to a proper little bistro. We had a pitcher of sangria, a piri piri chicken sandwich & a poutine & everything was delicious. I had been here many years earlier & I remembered it being good but I was even more impressed this time around. It's so refreshing to see a place improve with time because it's often the opposite! Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up! We can't wait to return!
Great spot for the summer. They have a beautiful outdoor setup overlooking the water. I tried the new summer menu with the Piri Piri chicken. It was okay, nothing to get excited about. It was the first day of that menu, so I hope they will improve it. I also found a piece of plastic in my sandwich, which was disappointing ans not handled properly by the management. In the future, I will stick to their poutine.
Patate & Persil in Montreal! The bustling atmosphere & the friendly service of the waitress added to the experience. The poutine loaded with plenty of cheese, & the unique circular spiral-shaped fries is delicious. The homemade sauce in the sandwich & the tasty side of fries complemented the overall enjoyment of my first meal in the city.
Enjoyable restaurant. Lovely & quirky. Very creative menu with a wonderful mixtures of tastes. We were 7 people, who all loved their meals. Great salads & sandwiches. One of our group is Celiac & appreciated the gluten free options. Service was good. Thank you. My only negative comment would be the french fries, which were not memorable.
