Paquebot Café emerges as a cozy, vinyl loving spot with friendly staff and solid coffee that many reviewers praise, while a few feel the drinks and desserts fall short of the hype or are priced a bit high. The atmosphere is repeatedly described as warm and charming, with good lighting, a space to linger or work, and an upstairs area that offers a nice overlook, plus a record player and shelves of vinyl that add character. The menu is often noted as small or limited, yet several drinks stand out such as cappuccino, sesame latte, and matcha latte, and there are tasty pastries and vegetarian options mentioned. Some comments point to inconsistent quality or value and to seating being tight or uncomfortable at times, but the overall impression is that Paquebot Café is a beloved, convenient spot for coffee, a bite, and a relaxing break while exploring Montreal.
The place feels a bit overrated. While the atmosphere is nice & the staff are very friendly & welcoming, the coffee & dessert were just average. I ordered a cappuccino & a cortado, & neither really stood out. Overall, it's a pleasant spot to visit, but the quality of the drinks & desserts didn't quite match the hype.

Filter coffee, espresso were both lovely. Veggie sandwich was delicious. Seating upstairs is enjoyable for the overlook of the lower level, but a little uncomfortable with flat wooden benches & metal stools.

A sweet little cafe with amazing coffee! I tried one of the coffee specials, a black sesame latte, & it was one of the best lattes I've ever had! The ambience was really lovely too with nice lighting, space to hangout, & music from a record player downstairs.

A lovely little café! I popped in for a cappuccino after the spa - & it was great! The coffee was flavorful, aromatic, & beautifully served. Most of the desserts were gone since it was close to closing, but the cozy atmosphere more than made up for it.
What really stood out was the vinyl music - a real record player & shelves full of records. I even saw the barista put on a new record - such a charming touch!
I'll definitely come back & bring someone along next time.
