Très beau décor & magnifique présentation des canapés & des mignardises. Mais côté goût, pour le prix, nous avons été déçues, les canapés sont beaucoup trop salés & une des mignardises goûtait le sûri. Beaucoup plus beau que bon!
Parfait pour prendre l'heure du thé en amies! La décoration & l'ambiance sont très bien. Le personnel est attentionné. Que dire du plateau étagé avec ses petits sandwiches, ses canapés, ses scones & ses petites pâtisseries! Il est difficile de tout terminer! Facile de s'y rendre en métro, pas très loin de la Basilique Notre-Dame, parfait pour s'y promener ensuite & parcourir les rues du Vieux-Montréal. C'est ma deuxième visite & c'était aussi bien, le menu change quelques fois pendant l'année, ce qui permet de goûter à de nouvelles choses. Il y a aussi des plateaux avec options végétariennes , véganes & sans gluten.
Paparmane is such a cute spot in Old Montreal for afternoon tea. The decor is super on-theme & cozy. It's the perfect for a girls' day out, mother's day, birthday. You get a set menu with savoury bites on the bottom tier, two scones in the middle, & desserts on top. The menu changes from time to time, but everything is always delicious. They also have a great selection of teas. It's from the same team behind some of my fave brunch spots (Régine & Janine) so no surprise it's a hit!
Expect to pay about $60/person for the regular high tea, before taxes & tip!
The décor was beautiful, & the food & tea were tasty; however, the service was disappointing. The host was great, but our server was not. She was inattentive-although we were a party of four, our table was set with only three teacups. We had to ask her to bring another cup.
Additionally, she asked if we wanted milk, & we said yes, but then she went to another table & disappeared. We asked her again. We never received the milk. Eventually, we had to ask one of her colleagues, who kindly brought it for us.
It was her colleague who took the time to explain what was brought to us, & offered to take our family photo. Not our server.
Our server brought us the debit machine very quickly.
In the future, we would choose a higher-end hotel for high tea, as the servers there are better trained & the service is more professional.

Nous avons passé un moment absolument délicieux & exquis chez Papermane. Tout y est merveilleux ! L'accueil, le service, la nourriture, l'ambiance & le décor nous font vivre une expérience unique qui nous donne envie d'y retourner. Un endroit un peu hors du temps qui nous transporte & nous fait décrocher. J'en suis sortie ravie, enchantée, remplie de beauté & de gourmandise!! Je vais partager cette belle découverte, c'est certain!
