We were spoiled! A friend had made the reservation for us & we were warmly greeted by John one of the owners. Excellent food, incredible service from Peter & his support staff. I wished we had discovered this authentic Greek food restaurant several years ago. We are only 20 km away & we will definitely put this delightful resto in the rotation.
We were 3 for a special occasion & ordered a nice white Helios wine. We started with fried calamari with spicy mayo along with dinner sized toasts. Followed by fried zucchini, then fried shrimp & grilled veggies, then Mediterranean bass with capers & of course potatoes. The finale was an amazingly good & visually pleasing dessert of yogurt & honey with mini puff pastry balls that John showed my wife how they should be eaten. The cappuccino was perfect!
We already have plans to eat there when guests from out of town want a special experience.

The food was incredibly disappointing. Compared to other Greek restaurants I've visited, this one is likely the worst. The chicken was fine, but the rice was overcooked, & the potatoes were soggy (how do you even mess that up?). The presentation was lacking, as seen in my photo. There was no tzatziki on the side, & no feta in the salad-everything had to be added separately. Given the price, I would definitely recommend going somewhere else.
Table of 8. We found the service slow as it took awhile to get a drink ordered once we were seated. There were only 3 menus given to our table of 8. sharing these was not practical.
Food was below your standard. Pork was very overcooked & tough to eat (left most of it on the plate). Shrimps were also over cooked. Appetizers were good, Potatoes were good as were the salads. Overall not up to the standard we expect especially for the price.
Very comfy settings & excellent Greek cuisine. Our go to is the souvlaki & then we split the grilled octopus, which is delicious & more than enough for two people as it comes with a salad & potatoes (also really nice flavours) when combined with the souvlaki. Very happy with the food & excellent service!

Panama is our favorite Greek restaurant in Montreal. The octopus was perfectly grilled & tasty & the large chicken plate was excellent. The large Greek salad was pricey at $25 but the feta cheese portion was generous. The lemon potatoes were delicious. Great food but not for the budget concious.
I ordered the shrimp meal with rice, potatoes & salad. The shrimps were ok, rice was cold, potatoes were ok & what they call salad was merely lettuce with no topping. It was not to my expectations.

Awesome experience. First time we went there, we had the BEST martinis we've ever had, excellent waitress. Amazing food. Potatoes were so good. Lamb was well cooked, rice - everything we had was delicious. Will go back.
Really enjoyed a meal at Panama with a friend after a long period of "abstinence". Staff were welcoming & very accommodating. The menu is typical Greek fare, but better than fast food any day! Delicious Taramosalata with warm sesame crusted bread to start. My fresh fish of the day, Sea Bass, was nicely grilled, served with lemon & caper - both it & the roasted potatoes were a little overcooked but the taste was lovely. We shared a great bottle of white Greek wine (upon recommendation) & a dessert plate of "Honey Balls" - servings are more than ample & the take home is being looked forward to for a snack next day.

If you are true carnivores like the four of us were, then you will be order the large Mixed Grilled Meat platter (lamb, chicken, pork, & loukaniko sausages)! Add to that some grilled vegetables, oven potatoes, & not to forget my favourite, some grilled octopus! We thoroughly enjoyed our feast! Our waiter, Gus, spoiled us with the generous portions of loukoumades & we actually could not finish off the last piece! My out-of-town siblings we so happy with our choice of restaurant!
I went to Panama yesterday for the first time. I ordered the grilled salmon, with rice, salad & potatoes. It was delicious!. Very tasty & the waiter was very nice. I will definitely be back soon.😊
This restaurant had been on my wish list but disappointingly the meal was awful. We had the over-cooked Calamari, which is served without any sauce while they suggest you buy the tzatziki as a dip; we also had a bland, meagre Grilled Octopus followed by the most tasteless, peculiarly butchered, skinny lamb chops which were shaped like short, very thick-cut bacon slices. We also had the Baked Lamb, which didn’t look “baked” at all but was colourless & limp as though it had been boiled & it actually tasted “boiled”: So overcooked, soft, limp & bland that the meat was unidentifiable as lamb - no aroma, no flavour at all; like it had been boiled in plain water without any seasonings - just awful. The main courses were served with basic white rice, boiled potatoes & a salad that I don' remember. The service was acceptable. Needless to say, we won’t be going back.
