Review Summary

Reviews for Pacini at Marché Central present a polarized perspective, with many guests praising the sleek, modern decor, warm atmosphere, and the popular bread bar, which remains a highlight for families and individuals alike. While some diners experience exceptional, professional service and enjoy the variety of offerings, including vegan, keto, and halal options, others report significant inconsistencies. Common complaints revolve around high prices, small portions, and uneven food quality, with some dishes described as bland, cold, or overcooked. Pacini at Marché Central was a pleasant surprise. The food was great, service was quick, & the bread bar is always a welcome touch. A solid choice if you're in the area & craving Italian, better than expected & good value for what you get.

I used to go to the one in the west-island as a kid with my parents. This was my first experience of Pacini as a parent. The whole family enjoyed the food & the ambiance. It wasn't too loud as is often the case in restaurants. The staff was great & the garlic bread grill is an amazing bonus!

Loved the service & the bread bar but the food… So expensive for nothing! The pasta was salty & very very ordinary for 30$. The pizza is not even a pizza, it looked more like a flatbread, for 25$ you would think it would be better. Not worth your money, i would go elsewhere.

I don't know how someone would consider this to be'Italian food'. I went there with a Vietnamese friend & we both concluded that it's cultural food for white people 😏 no offense. Expensive for what ?! I'm sure their overhead is very high- but 30$ for a mediocre tiny pasta…. Is just sad. I'd never take someone with a big appetite there. I guess that's what the bread bar is for. Cute decor though you can tell they spent a lot of money on the place. I would definitely go back for the cocktails at the bar & dessert though

Overall, it was an interesting experience. I tried the Lasagna Grandiose but unfortunately it wasn't really to my taste.

We also ordered a few pizzas, which were decent but nothing particularly memorable.

The bread buffet was something new for me though, & definitely a unique touch that added to the experience.

Worth trying at least once if you're curious about the concept.

The pasta was good 7.5/10. The service was a bit slow after the meals. Great place for family or big groups. They have beard station which is nice to get freshly toasted bread.

First time going to Pacini's & I gotta say I'm impressed overall.

From start to finish, we had excellent service & the food/drinks were perfect, only complaint I would say is the pasta was a little dry. Everything on the menu is well organized & appealing, & surprisingly informative to our tastes. They give vegan, keto & halal options which is quite nice for them to go out of the way.

The instant bread bar to start off was a welcomed surprise. We ordered a prosciutto pizza, a plate of linguine alfredo with added chicken breast, & a plate of steak with sea salt from Sicily. Everything was rich & flavorful down to the last bite.

Will most definitely come again!

I ordered a fried calamari was was hard & dried, the salmon dried & no taste , the lasagna dried & very salty. The service is super fast we are not even having time to go the bread station & our appetizers, main course come at the same time no time to enjoy our food. The menus is very pricey for this type of restaurant.

Music was a bit loud, so if your going there to talk good luck. & the smoke from the breads start to be a bit much after a while, my eyes were burning. But other then that it was a great place to be.
