English version
Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
I ordered a large half-cheese, half-Antonio Special pizza for delivery. Before placing my order, I asked if the price of over $50 included the delivery fee because it seemed unusually expensive. The employee who took my order was very kind & confirmed that it did.
The delivery took about 1 hour & 10 minutes, & when the pizza finally arrived, it was cold.
The delivery driver, Tarik Abdelouafi, was polite when he called to confirm my address. However, when he arrived, I asked if the delivery fee went to him. He responded in a rude tone that the restaurant doesn't even pay for his gas. Even though the order was already very expensive, I still gave him a small tip out of kindness. He didn't even thank me & simply walked away with a very unprofessional attitude.
I then called the restaurant to explain the situation. The employee I spoke with was very polite & offered to remake the pizza & send me a fresh one. I appreciated the gesture, but after already waiting more than an hour & having such a disappointing experience, I had completely lost my appetite & declined the offer.
In the end, paying over $50 for a cold pizza, waiting more than an hour for delivery, & receiving such disappointing service is unacceptable. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again, & I sincerely hope they take steps to improve both the quality of their deliveries & the professionalism of their service.
I ordered a sub & poutine last week & 2 extra large pizzas this week. Just wanted to say they were excellent, thank you so much. I really like the distinct take on the poutine sauce, with a thicker consistency than usual & still uniquely flavorful. Works well as a poutine gravy & also with the fries used. Pizzas had a nice, thick layering of cheese & just loaded with toppings. The Mexican pizza had the toppings layered below the cheese, which I found fun & enjoyable to eat. Hearty chunks of chicken & of ground beef are used, seems very much the case that they're made in-house. Very nice quality to the pizza dough texture & taste, too.
Ordered 2 medium all dressed. The sauce was bland, tasted like they simply dumped tomato paste on there, no spices (garlic, oregano, basil, rosemary). Cheese was ok, peperoni was almost non existent, had maybe a dozen slices on the whole pizza. For the price, I would order from somewhere else.
Good pizza, the crust is between thin & regular & the cheese has a nice thickness to it. The sauce is also great. It's nice that they use pieces of dough to prevent the cheese from sticking to the top of the box instead of plastic, a smart way to be eco-friendly.
"Antonio's Pizzeria is a slice of heaven! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked dough & savory toppings fills the air, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience. The pizza here is perfection - crispy crust, generous portions of gooey cheese, & an array of mouthwatering toppings that cater to every palate. Whether you're a traditionalist who loves a classic Margherita or an adventurous eater craving a specialty pie, Antonio's has something for everyone. The service is always friendly & efficient, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. With each bite, you can taste the passion & craftsmanship that goes into every pie. Antonio's Pizzeria isn't just a place to grab a quick bite - it's a destination for pizza lovers seeking the ultimate slice."
Have been ordering pizza & subs here for at least twenty years & never disappointed. Tonite we tried the Philly Cheese Pizza which was amazing! Was topped with mushrooms, onions, steak, mozzarella & cheddar cheese. Always gets delivered within a reasonable legnth of time & the pizza never soggy on the botton!
