been here 3x over past few years. always incredibly fresh fare that really does seem farm-to-table, & interesting ideas around flavor pairings, etc. i love that they have an ample selection of non-meat-centered dishes too, which are sometimes relegated to side dish territory in such high falutin' establishments. that said, ive had some great canards & agneus here as well. incredible desserts often on the more savory side. & really a pretty great value all around for this type of place. one of my favorites in mtl that i dont think gets the hype it deserves. my one minorminorminor gripe was that last time some of the dishes were kind of similar to the time id been prior, a year before. maybe slightly more variety year to year could not hurt. but only pertains to a couple if i recall correctly & really not a major blemish on a great restaurant. 5* easy.

What a great chef owned BYO nouveau French restaurant! The dishes are inspired, creative. perfectly prepared & work brilliantly on the taste buds. Service is efficient & excellent, first class. I must also mention that as diners from the US we were treated extremely well. Our cell phones did not work to transmit the menu so the server patiently told us what the menu choices written in French were in English. Truly excellent.
Ça faisait longtemps que nous étions venus dans cet excellent restaurant & nous avons été ravis par la cuisine & raffinée & la courtoisie de l'accueil & du service. Pétoncles, agneau, canard, omble tartelette de poireau, tout était excellent! & les desserts aussi! A bientôt!

Très sincèrement l'un des meilleurs restos à Montréal. Je recommande chaudement n'importe quel plat avec des champignons, que le chef a l'air d'avoir maîtrisé à 100% ❤️
Le servie était super, la nourriture est bonne mais les portions par rapport au prix sont vraiment petites.
My partner & I come to this restaurant every single time we visit Montreal. The food has been amazing each & everytime we have visited & I'm so happy to see that continued consistency. O'thym changes it's menu seasonally & source local ingredients so you rarely have the same thing twice. The atmosphere of the restaurant is intimate & encourages quite conversation & allows you to also focus on the food & it's tastes & textures. I will continue to recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal.
