I came here with my Italian partner & a friend expecting nothing & we all were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, it's not often that you find real carbonara made the Roman way, let alone a good tiramisu that's not too soggy in Montreal & the nearby areas. I've read the reviews as well & if you think the food is not good, I'm sorry but you should rethink your whole approach to Italian cuisine, maybe you like American-Italian style only.

I was craving for Italian food & this place did not disappoint my cravings! If you are looking for authentic & quality Italian dishes, come & try the dishes at Osteria da Rosa. I had the carbonara & my partner had the nocina. We also had the calamari & it was very fresh & crispy.

The pasta was incredible & the pizza was top notch. Everything about the place screams authentic, from the food to the tablecloth, & even the jerseys on the wall. We had a great time which was made even better by our interactions with the owner & his wife. Beautiful people & you can tell they care about their customers & wish to provide the best service possible. Finally, pricing was excellent in relation to quality.
