Such a nice & cozy spot! It's bright, welcoming, & has a really pleasant atmosphere. The staff are super friendly, & I loved the coffee, matcha & the pastries - there's a great selection. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try their brunches. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to, whether you're getting some work done or catching up with a friend over an excellent cup of coffee.

The 4 of us stopped by this restaurant in the morning of Aug 30 to have a nice brunch. The reviews seemed quite good, so we thought'why not?'. As it turns out, it was quite disappointing. If I were to summarize, I'd say it was overrated (as far as quality goes) & overpriced. The portions were relatively small for the price. When I asked for milk, I wasn't given any choice & can swear I saw oat or soy milk being pored into my coffee. What?? I didn't want to make a scene, so I said nothing. Another thing: The staff was not pleasant nor smiling. They were quite robotic in a way, & happiness was definitely not written on their face!
My advice: Walk further South closer to the'vieux port' & you'll find a lot more places for brunch, where the plates are fuller & reasonably priced.

Outstanding brunch at Onna! The sweet potato waffle was absolutely delicious-crispy on the outside, soft inside, & topped with a perfectly poached egg with a beautifully runny yolk. The creamy labneh, sautéed mushrooms, pumpkin seeds, & fresh salad made every bite flavorful & perfectly balanced. The almond milk cappuccino was exceptionally creamy with a rich espresso flavor. Beautiful presentation, great coffee, & a cozy atmosphere. One of my favorite brunch spots in Montreal!

A very cozy place!
We stopped by when it was pouring outside, & I was bright & neat inside. The coffees (we had a flat white & a cortado) were very good, & avocado toast crunchy & nutritious!

Amazing cafe serving a wide range of delicious breakfasts & excellent coffee. Staff are very friendly & helpful & menus are available in English as well as French. Definitely recommended, only wish I hadn't found it until my last day in Montreal!

Paid an exorbitant amount for breakfast here, & it was not even good. Pancakes were burnt. If you just get coffee the atmosphere might be worth it, but the food certainly isn't.

Coffee is bitter (even with syrup) & leaves a weird after taste. Matcha is absolutely disgusting. Putting 2 stars because the almond brioche is good & the vibe is nice!
