Overall it was not worth the money. Only the fried rice was great! I can taste a bit of wok hei & the crunchiness helped! Shrimp toast was way too oily.. The sauce for eggplant was way tooooo sweet, so overpowering that I couldn't taste the sourness that was supposed to balance it out. The lamb skewers & the shishito peppers were well grilled & the lamb was super tender BUT again the sauce was ruining everything… it was again way too sweet. I really don't understand because it just didn't match the grilled cumin flavor of the lamb at all.. lastly the five spices duck.. sadly this was one of the worst duck breast I've ever tried.. I felt like they tried to be a fusion restaurant but just failed in either Chinese or western way.. 😞

We had a great first experience at Oncle Lee, the food & service was exceptional, Gaby was a great server, knew the menu very well & helped us make the right selections, looking forward to going back.

Love the food. Generous portions to share. The cocktails were also delicious. The only thing I was surprised is there is no rail/ramp to hold when go in & out of the restaurant

Stumbled upon this place on the way to our hotel. We ordered the steak, duck, green veggies, garlic fried rice, & mapo tofu. The steak was cooked well with this sauce that tastes like an elevated Chinese black pepper sauce. The duck was a different from Peking duck but familiar as it had a lot of different sauces to pair the duck with. We were impressed with the pate mouse that came with it. The leafy greens were cooked with charred notes that made it unique. Garlic fried rice was flavourful & flawless. We would go back just to eat the rice. The mapo tofu was what I was really excited about but it lost a point cuz it was too salty & not too different from what you can get in Toronto.

Overall experience was excellent & we will go here the next time we go to Montreal

Food was mediocre at best & gave my wife & I upset stomachs all night. Unfortunate as it was a cool place & server was good.

Meilleurs plats que nous avons mangés depuis longtemps! Tout simplement exceptionnel. Plats traditionnels élevés au niveau supérieur avec des sauces tellement bonnes que j'aurais pleuré & des ingrédients de qualité. Le service est super attentionné. Bravo à toute l'équipe!

A lovely modern Chinese restaurant with delicious fresh & full of flavor food. Warm service & cozy welcoming atmosphere. We ate duck & it was delicious with many additions on the side, shrimp toast & the papaya salad was amazing. A nice mellow sake(Dv sale aka red). Even the seafood platter looked amazing. Definitely coming back.

Went there for a business dinner. We asked to be surprised & just went with recommendations from the chef. While the seafood was just good, the mushroom & the lamb brochettes were incredible. I had to reorder some! The duck was delicious too, with cooked perfectly & with a great texture. It's a bit pricy, but that's just any restaurant downtown now. The service was great, the cocktails too. I recommend!

This restaurant location is incredible. The food was amazing, service was quick & enthusiastic & the ambiance is very lively & moody. I loved every minute at this place! It is pricey but well worth the cost!

The place is very nice, different. I highly recommend the canard au 5 epices (duck) & the yuzu sake (i like sweet alcohol). I was there on a date, but definitely suitable for a family/friend group dinner. The service was good, it wasn't loud & the atmosphere was romantic & serene in a well decorated space.
