Olivia's Authentic Chicken is described as takeout only, with a freezing dining area and drafts whenever the door opens because there are no double doors in winter, and no customer washrooms; reviews show a mixed picture: some praise the flavors and items like wings, while others find the chicken too salty, the breading bland, and the fries cold, and waits can be long and inconsistent, especially with new staff or when using delivery platforms; packaging and quality are said to have declined, including a switch to creamier coleslaw and the occasional missing drink, though a late night snack appeal and friendly vibe are noted by some; overall impressions are split between moments of tasting good and concern about value and consistency, with hesitation about returning.
Should have gone to kfc or A&w :( chicken was not crispy at all, the piece was like almost pink …
They didn't ask me what. I wanted in the sandwich, I would have requested some lettuce
Makes me sad when I spend money on takeout & it's not good
It's a two in one, the Olivia chicken & a poke monster. I've order from Olivia chicken & the chicken had a weird chewy texture & an an after taste of chemical smell. They also don't have bathrooms. Staff were good but the restaurant itself & the food was really really bad. Unfortunately I would not come back there.

Food & service was good, it took about 15-20 mins for our burger & 2 piece chicken with fries combo to arrive. the restaurant was freezing cold, specially because they don't have double doors in winter. Evey time someone opened the door, a -13 degree wind blow in side the restaurant. Also, No washrooms for customers.
I bought the Jumbo Wrap Combo. It was generally really good. Personally, the chicken was just too salty & the fries were mid. The waiting time was ridiculously long. I was told my food is ready then got it 10 minutes after even though I waited 10-15 minutes before because no one was coming to the counter. I had really high expectations for this restaurant. I'm not sure I'll go again.

On average can take 20-45 minutes for just a trio. I'm pretty patient, & I can guess when it's busy. But even when not busy, more often than not I'm waiting forever more than before the restaurant was shared with the new Pokebowl. Some of the newer workers just ignore you for a while, but allow the 3 UberEat guys to get infront of you still waiting to order, & they leave & you're still waiting. Used to love this place. Good food but...
This restaurant is amazing & their wings are really good honestly, some of the best I've had. But every time we eat here, we end up with diarrhea. I still recommend it though… especially if you're constipated. It works every time
Just ordered via uber & i was really disappointed in how the overall quality went down since I last ordered maybe 8-12 months ago.. Cheaper unbranded packaging, what seemed like less breading on the chicken, what seemed like lesser quality chicken, less seasoned sides - & honestly i'm the most disappointed that the once delicious oily vinegary based coleslaw changed to a generic creamy one :( plus they forgot my drink. Olivia's has always been a favourite of mine but I honestly don't think i'd order again after this.
Olivia's not only lives up to the hype, but surpasses it. Super tasty chicken & wonderful service. The owner really cares about the food & customer service. Chicken strips were crispy, flavorful, & juicy. The sauces are amazing, & the fries are that battered kind which are delicious. Didn't have to wait long for our order, either. Now our go-to fried chicken place, so lucky to have this in our neighbourhood!
