OKANE Sushi Bar is a charming address which will appeal to all lovers of Japanese cuisine. When you open the door of the restaurant, one is immediately captivated by the warm decor and friendly staff. The room is separated into several areas, allowing to enjoy an intimate evening for two or with a group of friends. On the cuisine side, you will not be disappointed by the impressive Chef! The food presentation is very neat and visually appealing but it also tastes good too. The Sushis are prepared perfectly and simply melt in your mouth. If you want to eat sushi at a good value for money, this place will not disappoint you.

Fantastic. Great variety in the party platters & incredible service catering to gluten free / celiac people. They separated out the safe foods from the non & adapted to give the GF folks special rolls too. Also kept us stocked with GF soy sauce. Amazing service & the sushi was incredible too. The BBQ eel was phenomenal & the rainbow & spicy salmon were fantastic too. Will be back!

Best, freshest, most delicious sushi in Montreal. The salmon roll is to die for. Excellent service. Cute & cozy space in Griffintown.

The chefs roll was absolutely amazing & the sashimi was great in texture & flavour. & best of all, its at a very affordable price point. Highly recommended!

BEST MTL SUSHI EVER! each sushi had so much fish it in, they felt so heavy. The Spicy tuna roll was the best, very flavourful & filling. Amazing service!! Thank you to the wonderful Ping, she made the experience lovely!🎀

Small restaurant next to ÉTS (offering 10% discount for student) We took Combo 5 & 6 (22.99$ each) We were served by a nice waitress! Very welcoming & warming personality ! At first, it doesn't seem to be enough, but the rolls are so big (I have to give it 2-3 bites for one as you'll see on my video) you'll feel almost full. Trust me you don't want to be full otherwise you'll fall asleep in class (or in the bus on your way home like I did)

Little pricey for the food & combos since I prefer an AYCE but good food overall. Sushi had lots of rice & not much fish in rolls not sure why but waiter was very nice!

Four words: good sushi, fair price. Okane is a family-run business that offers delicious sushi for a price that won't break the bank. I had a few different rolls & liked them all. They also have combos.

Some of the best sushi in Griffentown! Sushi rice in naguri was really nicely flavoured & well balanced. Combos might seem small with 26 pieces for almost $50, but the pieces are huge (basically the size of 2.5 rolls combined)!
Also this is one of the only sushi restaurants in Montreal that actually gives you good quality sauce, light & a little sweet, unlike the cheap super salty stuff).
