If we could describe this place in 1 word it would be Phenomenal. It was our producer's birthday, so we brought him out for lunch. The restaurant actually looks like a palace. The decor is stunning. We get greeted & served by men in suits, talk about a fancy outing. The menu has an extensive list of grill & seafood dishes. The food was served in an appetizing display. Very generous with the amount of food, most of us could not finish the food. We were then served Turkish tea & given wet naps to clean our hands. The waiter will pass with a small broom to pick up the crumbs, something which caught us by surprise & Totally added to the experience of elegance. Wow!!! Can't say enough great things about the food! EVERYTHING was delicious!!! Definitely try the fried cheese rolls & get some appetizers, they also serve incredible Turkish bread. Have been several times now & food is consistently delicious! You will not be disappointed!
When it gets busy it's hard to find a waiter. The waiters don't ask how your meal was. They seem very busy on Saturday night. When you asked to take some food home they give you a container to do it yourself. The kebab with the yoghurt drenched bread is not the best choice. Shrimp plate was amazing. The belly dancer it was very good!
Food was good. Portion for 4 is not really quite generous. I was expecting it to have more meat as we paid $75 per person Now the service... Completely horrible. Frustrating... I had a reservation a week in advance yet they served the food after midnight, my guests were hungry & I was embarrassed with that terrible service. Every time I require to have the dinner served , the waitress kept saying 10 more minutes.after over 2 hours of waiting, my guests kinda gave up on food & don't want to eat so late ... My $2177 bill is not Worth it whatsoever.. Need new management

Meilleur restaurant turc au Québec! J'ai habité en Turquie plusieurs années pour le travail & Mardin Palace est l'endroit où les plats turcs sont les plus authentiques. Il y a de plus en plus de restos turcs dans la région, mais rien n'égale ce restaurant: fraîcheur des produits, goût & cuisson impeccables, jolie présentation, belle ambiance mais surtout de la vraie viande de qualité, ce qui est si difficile à trouver de nos jours! Mon coup de coeur: la brochette d'un mètre accompagnée de plusieurs autres spécialités ! Mardin Palace est vraiment devenu LE restaurant préféré de tout mon entourage!
A true gem. Worth the drive. Food is absolutely amazing. Place is amazing. Staff is ok but some waiters are a bit better at their jobs than others & it shows. We had great experiences multiple times. Great for family or date night. The atmosphere & decor is on point. Highly highly recommend!

Food is excellent. Portions are satisfying. Good atmosphere with live music (Saturday night. Not sure about other days). So, it's noisy but very cheerful.
