This place always hits the spot.
Its hard to find Lebanese food that actually tastes like home. The staff is always nice & accommodating, food is well priced, especially for its location in the heart of centre ville.
I got a cheese kaake
A lhame be ajin
Eggs with Sujuk
Balila/hummus
& a variety of manakeesh
They were all well made & tasty.
Recommend this spot for every Lebanese food lover.
I come by every time I am in Montreal.
Authentic experience for Lebanese food. Quality was good & dough is perfect. Lahem Hajeen was our favourite but cheese & zataar was good. Paired with Ayran, you can't go wrong. Washroom is available but they have a sink in middle of seating area where you can wash your hands & get any additional sauces you might need.
The cheese & thyme with veggies wrap was sublime & fatteh with chickpeas is heavenly.
But the best is the so lovely service!
Thank you so much!!!
Order & sit down (almost fast food style) but the food is amazing & super flavorful! Portions are also huge!
Spicy chicken sandwich 9/10
Kafta & cheese manouche 9/10
(Although I was expecting more of a manouche but it's more like a pizza)
Will definitely come back to try their wraps & brunch combo next time!
Upscale Lebanese breakfast.
I like the ambiance & decor, & I definitely like seeing them roll the dough & bake it in front of you.
Ordered 1 cheese, & 1 zaatar with cheese. Unfortunately it took about 20 min before they were ready, but I guess that's the price of getting something made to order.
The cheese was very good & I recommend it.
The zaatar with cheese was a bit disappointing. I was expecting more cheese on it, but the flavour of zaatar was unique.
You're better off ordering one zaatar, one cheese, & putting the slices together yourself.
The dough is thin & light so you don't feel stuffed after.
Overall they were good, but maybe next time I'll try more of the traditional Lebanese breakfast.
I've dined at this restaurant multiple times, & I'm always lured back by the amazing taste of za'atar, halloumi cheese, & the lahmajoun topped with a drizzle of lemon-pure perfection. Without a doubt, it ranks among Montreal's finest.
The spot stands out for its spotless cleanliness, welcoming service, & delectable offerings-particularly the warm, fresh bread paired with labneh & olive oil. It's a stellar place, & I can't sing its praises enough!
I strongly recommend the cheese & zaatar man'ouche ! They're really good but … definitely not the famous chicken sandwich. Some of the I ingredients in the sandwich were hot & others cold & bland
We had soujouk & scrambled eggs & Manouche with zaatar & cheese, both of them were a bit tasteless. Would not go again.
Live preparation of food... Amazing Lebanese pies (mana2ish, Lahem b3ajine, cheese etc..) They have a killer Nutella & Marshmallow pie... Really friendly staff & nice atmosphere
Delicious food, friendly enviroment & staff. Came here by chance & was really surprised with the quality of the food! The shawarma was really good & huge proportions & the potatoes with cheese & sauce on top were divine.
Affordable & super tasty food!!! I've got no photos of my dinner because I just couldn't control myself when the food came out. Highly recommend the Fava beans- so flavourful & spicy! I would recommend getting a side salad (they give cucumbers & tomatoes with mint leaves) with this. I also got the spicy chicken wrap (which was not spicy at all). It had mushrooms & onions in this creamy sauce & cheese. I wish it was actually spicy though.
The food is amazing especially the cheese manouche & al the others manouche like the zattar & cheese the kofta the falafel sandwich's it's like the best manouche in Montreal but they have other sandwiches but I did not try the sandwiches
Loved this place. Amazed by the food quality. The beef shawarma sandwich was very tasty. Their dough is great. I noticed the eggs cheese bacon plates other customers ordered & they looked amazing too! The service was excellent. Great customer service from Angela. Well deserved to display as an Authentic Lebanese restaurant. Will be back again for sure 👍
I am currently sitting in the restaurant writing this review. Rarely have I ever seen a place with this many smiles & this much laughter. They serve fresh, simple & traditional Levantine staples done the Lebanese way. The energy from the workers, the joy & excitement of customer walking in & this most satisfying first bite of cheese & zaatar man'ouche created within me an overwhelming feeling of happiness. Thank you for taking the chance at creating a little bit of home away from home. I will most definitely be back! Simon
The restaurant is not halal. While the food itself was good, we had zaatar & cheese. However, the service was very poor. If you want to eat outside, you have to get your food yourself. Additionally, one of the waiters was rude & knocked on the window for us to come & get our tea. I went their with my friends & we payed $77 as a group.
It was a great experience. We had the all you can eat brunch.. Some of their food were delicious like the fresh zaata, cheese & eggs with soujouk. Others were average. It is definitely worth trying it.
Awesome shawarmas! Best cheese & potatoes theres it too. Plus it looked really great. Shawarma portions are pretty big though so one is good for two people I'd say
The meat was a bit on the oily side (Kafta, steak), but zaatar & labneh & cheese were perfect. The service from the lady at the cashier was nice & welcoming but the guy with the flat cap had a bit of an attitude.
