This place is truly great -- authentic fish n chips experience, in a street food style environment. The service is always warm. Let's not take this place for granted! A perhaps overlooked gem on Monkland street. Highly recommend the Carribean spice batter. Just noticed their new diversified menu... Very cool!

I had the fish & chips. The fries were frozen potatoes & not very good. The fish was good but there was only 1 piece for $20. I won't be ordering again.

Avoid if you don't want to be fooled with poor quality. I have been going to the place since they started & the fish is accompanied by English steak fries, which are made there & are really good. While they claim the fries are the same English fries, my recent order, in which they confirmed English steak fries, were cardboard plain fries that come from every cheap restaurant that buys them frozen. Shame on them for, first, outright lying about their product, & letting loyal clients down with bad food.

Best fish & chips I've had in Montreal, definitely London-style. People are sleeping on this place - it should have a line out the door. UPDATE 05/26: fish sandwiches & burgers added to the menu. Still as good as eve

If I had made this review a year ago I would have given it 5 stars, but I just went here recently for some takeout & it was awful.

I ordered the one piece of cod & a side of fried pickles. I brought my food home only to find that my fish & chips didn't come with any chips?? Okay, I thought, I have the fried pickles to make up for the lack of fries. I was presented with the thinnest, saddest, slices of pickle that I don't think had seen a shred of dill in its entire life. I'm not sure what kind of pickles they used but they were salty as heck & not a trace of dill to be found.

What you see on my plate is what I paid $30 for.

I don't I'll be ordering from here anymore.

The taste the crispness was outstanding & perfect, I order shrimp & fish & chips.
Shrimp was fresh, delicious & by far the best shrimp I ever tasted & I loved it.
It came from some one who never order shrimps
