I live around the corner & this is a regular spot for me. Had the unagi steamed bun & the ToroView more
Delicious! Ordered the omakase, octopus & eggplant. We loved everything we ate.View more
Wow! The fish was SO fresh & tasty. Such a great hidden gem 🏆View more
Okonomiyaki wasn't great, & was included with most of our mains (chef's choice), something that should have been mentioned when we ordered it as a separate appetizer. Service was alright, but I didn't find it specifically accommodating either. Miso soup was nice. Fried foods were tasty. Eggplant was delicious. Sashimi on rice was okay, saved a little by the shallots & crispy bits. Orange wine was good.View more
My sister & I recently dined here & thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The restaurant offers a quiet, dimly lit atmosphere that creates an intimate & sophisticated ambience perfect for an evening out.
We opted to share the'Chef's Choice' appetizer platter & the sashimi seafood platter. Every slice of fish was exceptionally fresh. Each appetizer showcased thoughtful preparation.
While the service was prompt & courteous, we would have appreciated if our waitress had taken the initiative to explain the various dishes as they arrived. Instead, we found ourselves having to ask for descriptions.
Despite this small drawback, our overall experience was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant for the exceptional quality of the food.View more
Nozy is a hidden gem that brings high-quality Japanese cuisine to Montreal without the hefty omakase price tag. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or looking to explore creative Japanese flavors, this spot is worth a visit!View more
I ate there on Christmas Eve, the service was fast, the food was delicious & authentic. This is the best Japanese food I've had in Montreal, I felt like I was in Japan!View more
Visited last fall for dinner
Enjoyed the seafood platter & home made ginger ale
Felt a bit sad when we left the restaurant because we mentioned that it will be an anniversary dinner when we booked online, but there was no service or wordView more
Sometimes it's a five star meal, other times it's a one star meal. On the right day, there are delicious Japanese specialties. Go on the wrong day & the uni bowl is a sad, swampy mess & the toro is pale & limp. The oysters have grit. Unfortunately, the prices remain the same either way.
If the chef wants to serve his customers, he might consider developing some table side manners. You're in the hospitality industry, why not act hospitable?View more
Perfect place to go if you are craving for an uni-don.
Went there for few time, never disappointed.
Everything tastes so delicious & their sashimi are always fresh!View more
Incorrect restaurant holiday hours. Everything else is great, we always love coming here. Fresh sashimi & excellent plattersView more
Tried their omakase. The dishes were fresh & great portions as well especially the amberjack with ponzu was 10/10. Only down part I would say the lighting of the place would be more cozy maybe add little candle on the table & the bathroom tooView more
I waited for a long time for the server. The fish was ok but there were a few sharp bones. The rice is extremely soggy & cheap sauce was poured on top of it. In addition, half of the bowl of rice is cold & half warm, i find it very disgusting. The octopus was overcooked, with no octopus flavour & burnt. Also the oysters were shucked horribly (bits of shell).View more
Best japanese restaurant in town quality/price & we tried them all.View more
